Reggie Fils-Aime, former president of Nintendo of America, has shared behind-the-scenes information as to why the company stopped selling Wii and DS systems to Amazon back in the day.
Over the years, the two companies have had a bit of tumultuous relationship. It’s caused the two sides to stop working together on multiple occasions. One of the first instances of this was during the Wii and DS era.
Today, Aniplex and French-Bread announced Melty Blood: Twi-Lumina for various platforms, including Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch. The game is planned to launch in early 2027.
Melty Blood: Twi-Lumina is a new fighting game entry in the Melty Blood franchise. Details thus far are limited.

The next big Nintendo Switch 2 port is about to arrive with Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. With the release fast approaching, we caught up with creative director Axel Torvenius at MachineGames to talk about the game in a bit more depth.

In a bit of a random move from Nintendo, Super Mario Galaxy 2 received an update on Switch and Switch 2 this week that added an all-new epilogue chapter to the storybook. Many were afraid that it would tie into The Super Mario Galaxy Movie and its new story additions, but that doesn’t seem to be the case here. So today, we’re going over our interpretation of what this epilogue might mean. We’ll be covering full spoilers for Super Mario Galaxy 2, so keep that in mind before you continue!
You almost never see a first-party Nintendo game on sale before release, but that’s exactly what’s happened with a couple of upcoming Switch 2 titles as Splatoon Raiders and Yoshi and the Mysterious Book have been discounted.
Both games are currently $10 off. Splatoon Raiders is down to $50 while Yoshi and the Mysterious Book is available for $60. The actual prices you’ll find at most retailers is $60 and $70 respectively.
Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto has spoken about the approach to Peach’s character in the games and how he wanted to change things up for the movies.
In the mainline Super Mario titles, they’re typically about Peach being kidnapped. She’s essentially sidelined until the end when Mario rescues her. There’s been some criticism about this, which Miyamoto says he understands, but wanted to address this by changing things up with the movies.
