You can now save $10 on physical Splatoon Raiders, Yoshi and the Mysterious Book in special pre-order sale for Nintendo Switch 2
You almost never see a first-party Nintendo game on sale before release, but that’s exactly what’s happened with a couple of upcoming Switch 2 titles as Splatoon Raiders and Yoshi and the Mysterious Book have been discounted.
Both games are currently $10 off. Splatoon Raiders is down to $50 while Yoshi and the Mysterious Book is available for $60. The actual prices you’ll find at most retailers is $60 and $70 respectively.
If you’re going the digital route, these prices should look familiar. Nintendo recently announced a new pricing strategy in which its upcoming Switch 2 games will have difference prices physically and digitally. The company later confirmed that physical prices aren’t going up – this is essentially a discount for buying digitally.
So we’re not entirely sure what’s going on here. Perhaps Amazon is looking to price-match what’s happening on the Nintendo eShop. This probably won’t be something we’ll see a ton of going forward, but fans will certainly welcome these two discounts.
