Two planets hurl together through the cosmos, entangled in a three hundred years’ long war with the planet Rena ruling over Dahna and its people. Dahna’s resources are mined and pillaged to benefit the ruling Renans, and the Dahnan people are subjugated and treated as work slaves. Marsupilami 2: Salsa Palombia is in the works for Nintendo Switch, retailer listings have revealed. The game is due out on September 3, 2026.

The original Marsupilami came to Nintendo Switch at the end of 2021, and was pretty well-received at the time. Just like the previous entry, the sequel is a 2.5D platformer reminiscent of Donkey Kong Country.

The upcoming title Gurei will be making an appearance on Nintendo Switch, according to Astrolabe Games and Lobo Sagaz Studio. Look for it on July 23, 2026.

Gurei is an unforgiving action game that draws from classic Japanese samurai cinema. It features hand-drawn art and fluid animation with a choice-driven combat system.

Pokemon Go is about to celebrate its 10th anniversary, originally launching on July 6, 2016. Every now and then, rumors about a possible sequel pop up online, though they tend to come more from fan speculation and wishful thinking rather than any indication that a hypothetical new game is actually in development.

Mob Entertainment today set a release date for Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5 – Broken Things on consoles, including Nintendo Switch. It’s just a few days out – you’ll be able to grab it on May 27, 2026.

Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5 lets players descend deeper into Playtime Co. as they uncover the secrets and new faces waiting within. The Nintendo Switch debut follows the original launch which took place back in February.

Today, Deck13 Spotlight and Lots of Stuff Games announced that they’re putting Crystals of Irm on Nintendo Switch. The two sides didn’t provide launch timing, but that’ll come later.

Crystals of Irm is an old school RPG. There are also dungeon-crawling features and a combat system with a movement-based grid.

Circana has released a listing of the top ten best-selling games in the U.S. for the month of April 2026.

Official pricing for Pokemon Winds and Pokemon Waves has not yet been officially announced, but new retailer listings may give some insight.

Sometimes You, in partnership with Graven Visual Novels, has announced the upcoming release of Scarlet Wolf on Nintendo Switch. This one is slated for June 3, 2026.

Scarlet Wolf is a psychological horror visual novel. The description notes that after meeting with an old friend, you’ll “go through many traps and fight monsters to reveal the secrets of the dark past.”

Toujinmakyouden Hercules no Eikou is the next release in the Console Archives series, according to Hamster. The game arrives tomorrow, May 21.

Toujinmakyouden Hercules no Eikou initially debuted in 1987. The Data East game is an RPG in which players go on an adventure to take down the Demon King Hades and rescue the goddess Venus.
