Marsupilami 2: Salsa Palombia revealed for Nintendo Switch

Marsupilami 2: Salsa Palombia is in the works for Nintendo Switch, retailer listings have revealed. The game is due out on September 3, 2026.

The original Marsupilami came to Nintendo Switch at the end of 2021, and was pretty well-received at the time. Just like the previous entry, the sequel is a 2.5D platformer reminiscent of Donkey Kong Country.

A strange melody has swept across Palombia… and suddenly every animal starts dancing wildly, throwing the jungle into total chaos! Behind this rhythmic madness lurks the Mummy Queen, back from the Underworld with her crew to deliver a cursed concert with devastating effects. To restore peace to the jungle, take control of the three young Marsus, each with their own signature ability. Twister shoots through the air with a turbo glide, Hope leaps forward with an energetic spinning jump, and Punch bounces with powerful force to knock aside anything in his path! Switch instantly from one Marsu to another to unleash their powers and chain together stylish moves. And for even more fun, share the adventure with a friend thanks to local co‑op mode! From the Jungle to the City, from Snowy Mountains to the mysterious Underworld…explore four enchanting worlds packed with surprises, challenges, and unique gameplay mechanics. Beyond the main adventure, take on the Flow Mode, a speed-focused challenge where you must complete a series of trials without dying to prove your skills!
