The latest classic icons are live on Nintendo Switch Online with different designs available for Mach Rider and Excitebike 64.
These are play to redeem icons. That means you need to play Mach Rider and Excitebike 64 at least once to unlock their respective icons. When we say “play” though, that just really means booting up their apps for a second.
At the time of writing, Pokemon Champions is missing a whole bunch of features – it’s missing many Pokemon, a lot of items that are popular in competitive play, as well as extensive customization options for your trainer. Of course, none of that is really worth complaining about right now, because it’s clear that all of these features will be added to the game over time. On that note, all we have to do is wait! The Legend of Zelda series has many beloved games, but Zelda 2 – The Adventure of Link might be the odd one out. Each title does have its own passionate group of fans, but Zelda 2 doesn’t really get that much love – especially compared to other releases like A Link to the Past, Ocarina of Time, and Breath of the Wild. Even Nintendo itself apparently wasn’t too hot on it.
Quotes from Zelda creator Shigeru Miyamoto have now resurfaced from a 2003 Superplay Magazine interview in which we get some real candid insight into what he thought about the game. According to Miyamoto, Zelda 2 “was sort of a failure.” He also said that Nintendo viewed A Link to the Past “as the real sequel”. Zelda 2 is apparently “more of a side story”.

Reggie Fils-Aime, former president at Nintendo of America, has spoken about why the company doesn’t tend to put its games on sale.
Speaking at the NYU Game Centre Lecture Series, Reggie brought up the “Nintendo mentality” of making the best games and shipping them complete. He said that while the company does sometimes do big day-one updates, apparently the company hates doing so. But because of this mentality, that’s why Nintendo sales can be tough to come by.
