Arcade Archives Tag Team Wrestling

For its latest Arcade Archives game, Hamster has announced that Tag Team Wrestling is joining the line. It’s heading to Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch tomorrow, May 21.

You have to go all the way back to 1983 for the game’s initial release. Technos Japan was behind the action game.

Neptunia: Unlimited

March 19: Today, Compile Heart unveiled Neptunia: Unlimited, which is planned for both Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch. It’s first debuting in Japan on August 27, 2026. Expect a western release and a finalized English name later.

Neptunia: Unlimited is arriving over a decade after the last mainline entry in the series. It’s also the first game in the franchise for Nintendo Switch 2.

To celebrate the game’s release, Dangen Entertainment and Rastrolabs have released a launch trailer for RoadOut. This is a post-apocalyptic mix of action RPG, rock n’ racing, and dungeon-crawling.

Tale of Dark Lands

Sometimes You today announced a partnership with Satur Entertainment to bring Tale of Dark Lands to Nintendo Switch. It’s due out on June 2, 2026.

Tale of Dark Lands is a magical fantasy action RPG with a low-poly style. In the game, players will experience a story in which a brave mercenary defends a village from goblin raids, but the plot expands from there.

After raising enough funds on Kickstarter, Studio Massimo Gauthier has confirmed plans to bring Diorama Break to Nintendo Switch.

The game was able to raise about $70,000 in total. Along with funding the game itself, hitting the Kickstarter goal secured a Nintendo Switch version.

According to Giant Bomb’s Jeff Grubb, a Nintendo Direct will air by the middle of June. In other words, if true, a presentation should be expected sometime within the next few weeks.

Grubb shared that tidbit of information during the latest Giant Bombcast episode. He doesn’t currently have an answer as to whether it would be a Partner Showcase or a full on Nintendo Direct, but is currently assuming the latter.

Aspyr lived up to its promise to update the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, as a patch has just been released which adds TressFX.

The inclusion of TressFX was one of the biggest player requests from the port. Up until today, it was missing in the game. TressFX is notable since it’s used to render and simulate Lara Croft’s hair more realistically.

Dark Scrolls release date

May 5: Just after it was announced not too long ago, Devolver Digital and Doinksoft have nailed down the release date for Dark Scrolls. The game is hitting Nintendo Switch on May 28, 2026.

Dark Scrolls, a retro-styled dungeon scroller that combines those good good arcade vibes with handcrafted, roguelike-powered progression, was only revealed about a month ago. The project last had a general 2026 launch window.

Yoshi and the Mysterious Book developer

Just a couple of days before the launch of Yoshi and the Mysterious Book, we finally have confirmation about the developer behind the game. This may not come as much of a surprise, but it was indeed Good-Feel who developed the project.

Good-Feel being the developer of Yoshi and the Mysterious Book is something that fans had already speculated on. Nintendo itself has still not shared this officially and probably won’t be doing so, letting fans get the information for themselves when they reach the credits.

Nintendo is offering up another look at Yoshi and the Mysterious Book today, and we now have a look at the game’s opening.

The video serves as the initial cutscene and highlights how the adventure begins. It looks like Bowser Jr. is the one who comes across Mr. E and sets things in motion.
