Rumors

Fans may have uncovered an upcoming set of DLC characters for LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight.

While we’re waiting for the game on Nintendo Switch 2, the title did have its initial launch this week. And now that it’s out, fans have gone straight to datamining in order to see what could be lying ahead for the future.

SEGA has yet to officially announce Sonic Frontiers: Definitive Edition, but the game’s release date has apparently been leaked.

billbil-kun reports that the game will launch on June 23, 2026. We’re also hearing that it will cost $50 and a physical release is confirmed. However, it’s unclear if that means a proper cartridge version or a game-key card.

According to Giant Bomb’s Jeff Grubb, a Nintendo Direct will air by the middle of June. In other words, if true, a presentation should be expected sometime within the next few weeks.

Grubb shared that tidbit of information during the latest Giant Bombcast episode. He doesn’t currently have an answer as to whether it would be a Partner Showcase or a full on Nintendo Direct, but is currently assuming the latter.

According to a report from Day Zero Media, Nintendo is finally making a comeback in India.

The company has largely been absent from the country in recent years. Although consoles have been available via the grey market, Nintendo itself hasn’t had an official presence.

April 27: Now that The Super Mario Galaxy Movie has hit theaters, the next question is when it will be available for digital purchase. Apparently, it’s happening very soon.

When to Stream reports that The Super Mario Galaxy Movie will be available to stream starting on May 5, 2026. In a way, that would be a quick turnaround considering the film just came to theaters this month. However, When to Stream does have a track record when it comes to nailing streaming dates. Whether that will happen again here remains to be seen – as of now there has been no official announcement.

Pokemon Winds Waves map leak

A number of Pokemon Winds and Waves rumors have popped up over the past few days, including what could be a leak of the map.

The rumors have appeared from different sources, including BallGuy and Mootmonthly. We’ll note that nothing has been officially confirmed at this time.

A new report claims that Nintendo is currently in the process of pitching a Metroid movie.

Today’s updates comes from VScooper. This person mentioned on social media that, as of a few months ago, the film “was still in a bit of a push between studios”. Sony was said to be “one of the stronger contenders for Metroid, Universal is also fighting for it”.

A new leak is making the round which claims to have outed the identities of DLC characters for Street Fighter 6 Year 4.

The character names come from RnK Lucius, who has an accurate track history. This leaker was previously spot on with the news about Terry, Elena, and Bison for Street Fighter 6. However, it’s also claimed that Capcom sometimes puts out fake information as a distraction, so take the rumor with a grain of salt (which you should do with all rumors in any case).

One fan claims to have come across new music within the files of Resident Evil Requiem via a datamine, and some believe that the game could be getting a Mercenaries mode next month.

Last month, director Koshi Nakanishi teased a new minigame planned for a future update. Nothing was shared about what exactly Capcom had planned other than a May launch month. However, Mercenaries would certainly fit into that minigame category and the music may also be pointing in that direction.

Original: Rumor has it that the Nintendo Switch 2 version of 007 First Light has been hit with its own delay.

007 First Light was originally planned for release for all platforms on March 27, 2026. IO Interactive later pushed the launch back to May 27, 2026, and last we heard, the new date also applied to Nintendo Switch 2. But now apparently there’s been a new delay specific to that console.
