Yoshi and the Mysterious Book developer

Just a couple of days before the launch of Yoshi and the Mysterious Book, we finally have confirmation about the developer behind the game. This may not come as much of a surprise, but it was indeed Good-Feel who developed the project.

Good-Feel being the developer of Yoshi and the Mysterious Book is something that fans had already speculated on. Nintendo itself has still not shared this officially and probably won’t be doing so, letting fans get the information for themselves when they reach the credits.

Speaking of the credits, Kumi Tanioka recently shared her involvement with the game’s soundtrack. Tanioka previously worked on Final Fantasy 11 and the Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles series, Mario Sports Mix, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, arrangements for Smash Bros., and more.

Good-Feel has largely been associated with Yoshi over the past decade. The company previously made Yoshi’s Woolly World and Yoshi’s Crafted World. Good-Feel also created Wario Land: Shake It, Kirby’s Epic Yarn, and Princess Peach: Showtime for Nintendo.

You’ll be able to pick up Yoshi and the Mysterious Book for Nintendo Switch 2 this Thursday, May 21. If you’re wondering what the game’s reviews are like so far, check out this page. We also have the opening featuring Bowser Jr. here.
