Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is about to release Captain Majima

The next free character for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is coming soon with SEGA announcing the release date for Captain Majima. This new update is going live on April 29, 2026 at 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET.

Of course, Goro Majima (Captain Majima) will be available as as a playable character. On top of that, the Goromaru will be added. Special emotes and sounds are also planned.

That’s not all. Starting April 30 at 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET, fans can jump in and earn festival points for decals, gadgets and more. The event concludes on May 3 at 4:59 PM PT / 7:59 PM ET.
