Hamster is bringing Cyber Commando to the Arcade Archives line on Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch, the company has announced. It’s coming out tomorrow, April 30.

Originally, the game released in 1994. This is Namco’s 3D action game that has players controlling a vehicle and taking out enemies.

Rohga: Armor Force is appearing on Nintendo Switch 2 as a new Console Archives game, it’s been announced. The title arrives tomorrow, April 30.

Data East originally put out the game in 1996. The shooter lets players combine different body parts to make their own machine for battle.

March 11: Petoons Studio has announced Dracamar, which is slated for Nintendo Switch. The game launches in April.

Dracamar is a colorful 3D action adventure platformer inspired by classic PS2-era games and Mediterranean culture. Players will go on a quest to face the evil Dragon King while rescuing the magic Okis and collecting moki balls to rebuild bridges and reconnect the world.

To close out April, Digital Eclipse has readied a brand new update for Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection, which includes support for cross-play.

Nintendo Switch 2 users can now play online against those on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. However, Mortal Kombat Trilogy does not support the feature on the original Nintendo Switch due to tech constraints. 

There’s more to the update as well. Online play is now supported for several 2-on-2 modes, VRR is supported when playing in handheld more, and more.

Square Enix has spoken about the quick turnaround between the launches of Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Rebirth on Nintendo Switch 2.

It’s only been a few months since we saw Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade on Nintendo’s console. However, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is just on the horizon – specifically June 3. The wait in between the two RPGs comes down to just a little over four months.

Pokemon Legends: Z-A’s tenth ranked battles season is live now, and it allows Mythical and sub-Legendary Pokemon but doesn’t allow heavy hitters like Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza, Xerneas, and Yveltal. The highly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2 version of Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn Edition launches later next month on May 22nd, and Bandai Namco is continuing to build anticipation with a brand new character trailer focused on the game’s protagonist, Alphen.

Nintendo and Illumination are teaming up for another movie coming in 2028, it’s been revealed.

The film actually already has a set release date of April 12, 2028. However, nothing else about the project has been shared at the moment.

March 9: Today, Badass Mongoose nailed down the release date for Helix: Descent N Ascent. The Nintendo Switch game will be ready to go on May 21, 2026.

As a reminder, Helix: Descent N Ascent is an atmospheric puzzle-adventure. It features a monochrome art style that draws inspiration from 1980s black-and-white indie comics, 1990s manga, and 1970s Franco-Belgian comics.
