Shinya Arino, who stars in Game Center CX, is also part of the comedy duo Yoiko. Masaru Hamaguchi is the other member in the group.

Hamaguchi has previously appeared in “Game Center DX” videos on Nintendo’s Japanese YouTube channel as as a spoof of sorts. He’s now returned again, as you’ll see in the video below which focuses on The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes.

Nintendo released official videos for Medarot G Kabuto and Medarot G Kuwagata on the Japanese Wii U Virtual Console. Watch them below.

Update: Other Wii download listings on the server include The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Super Paper Mario, Metroid: Other M, Wario Land: Shake It, and Mario Strikers Charged.

Yesterday we made mention of a listing found within Nintendo’s servers for The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD. It was unclear at the time just how valid that speculation was, but additional evidence has emerged to support the original rumors. Just to be clear, the official description in Nintendo’s database is “The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD” – note the “HD” on the end. But naturally we don’t know what will come from that listing at this time.

Another item found within the same server is for Super Mario Galaxy. Unlike Twilight Princess, this does lacks the “HD” term at the end. It’s listed twice – once for Japan, and again for Europe. Super Mario Galaxy is already out on the Japanese Wii U eShop, but today’s findings could be a sign of an upcoming European release.

Note that even though these listings were absolutely uncovered on Nintendo’s servers, we’re still marking these posts as rumors. It’s always best to maintain some skepticism without an official confirmation!

Nintendo x DeNA

We’ve all been waiting quite awhile for the announcement of Nintendo’s debut mobile game. The company said it was “making announcement plans” in August, and an insider recently indicated that news would be coming soon.

There’s still no date yet when it comes to the reveal of the mobile title. Still, DeNA West chief executive officer Shintaro Asako officially went on record at GamesBeat 2015 today and said, “Soon, we should be able to announce the game.”

Asako also reiterated previous statements. As mentioned before, five Nintendo and DeNA games are coming between now and March 2017.

Asako added:

“I can’t say too much about the Nintendo deal. But it’s a really exciting initiative. It’s a really long-term initiative.”

Some news came in earlier today about David Production working on the Monster Hunter Stories anime. That information came from a recent interview with Fuji TV president Chihiro Kameyama.

In the interview, Kameyama mentioned that the Monster Hunter Stories anime is planned as both a broadcast and an anime business, which includes products, distribution and licensing. He also indicated that there might be plans to bring it overseas. There’s interest in having the series be a business much like how Yu-Gi-Oh! and Naruto are big businesses for TV Tokyo.

If the anime does make it over, that would also likely mean that we’ll be seeing the game here as well. We’ll just have to wait until next year to learn more about the situation.
