Helix Games, the indie developer behind Don’t Touch Anything Red and Neon Battle, has another title planned for the Wii U eShop.

“Escape from Flare Industries” has players platforming their way through different levels as a green blob Splat. Along the way, there will be plenty of challenges and puzzles.

Wii U owners who have purchased The Swindle should now be able to download the update. As noted by Curve Digital on Twitter, this patch brings the game in line with the Steam version.


Here’s an overview of the new patch:

– Improved overall stability
– Improved overall gameplay controls
– Fixed issues with killing a TeslaBot
– Fixed Teleportation issues
– Fixed issues with Hacking
– Fixed issues with user interface
– In game economy has now been re-balanced
– Made improvements to procedurally generated maps
– Made changes to Basilisk security

Minecraft: Story Mode Episode 1 – The Order of the Stone hit several platforms today. The Wii U version will be out a bit later, but we can at least watch a ton of footage for the time being. We’ve rounded up a bunch of videos below.

At the end of the Ace Attorney 6’s Tokyo Game Show trailer, we got a glimpse of Apollo Justice at the very end. It turns out he’ll have quite a big role in the game. As revealed in this week’s issue of Famitsu, Phoenix Wright and Apollo Justice are featured in Ace Attorney 6 as dual protagonists.

Famitsu also says that the game is set in both Japan and “Kurain Kingdom.” Prosecutor Payne (Gaspen Payne) will meet Phoenix here. In Famitsu’s article, it’s mentioned that the country features an undefeated prosecutor as well.

Earlier today we reported on quite a bit of new material regarding Medabots 9, including a new trailer and the opening of the official website. The folks over at Siliconera have translated the character profiles found on the website. Here’s some insight into a couple of the main characters:

Tenma Wakakoma

Tenma the protagonist isn’t too audacious, and he isn’t that experienced when it comes to Medabots, but he gets enrolled into an elite academy, where he finds some unwanted attention. It doesn’t take long for people to notice his abilities, and he joins an “exploration club” at the school.

Kunigiku Shinozaki
Kunigiku has a bit of a lazy personality, and he considers himself a supremacist of romance… but most people don’t really know what his feelings of romance are about.

Mio Shirakabe
Mio believes that she’s the cutest girl in the world, and she’s a beautiful girl with personality problems. She only opens up to her partner Medabot.

Chibi-Robo! Zip Lash was released in North America last week – however, Europeans will have to wait a little bit longer, November 6th to be exact, till they can play the game. Nintendo have released a new “Tiny Trailer” that shows some gameplay and the amiibo functionality. Check out the brief 30 second clip below:

At Japan Expo in Paris this Summer, both Shigeru Miyamoto and Takashi Tezuka were present at a panel / stage show and talked a bit about their creations during their time at Nintendo. Mario was an especially big topic, given the series 30th anniversary this year. The video below is a small excerpt from the show. Among other things, Tezuka and Miyamoto talk about level design in Super Mario Maker and give tips on how to build a great level.
