After five years since its announcement, Elementallis finally has a release date. The classic top-down adventure with a modernized retro aesthetic will be launching on Nintendo Switch on April 28, developer Ankae Games has announced.
Elementallis draws clear inspiration from classic top-down Zelda titles, but adds its own twist with gameplay centered around elemental magic. You play as a character seeking to restore the balance of the elements. Guided by guilt, you set out on a journey of self-discovery to restore the elements in a world on the brink of destruction.

According to Nintendo, the Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream team “obsessed over getting the sound just right” with the game’s usage of farting. That tidbit comes from an interview that just went live today.
Farting is one of the game’s little quirks. These quirks can be given to Miis to give them even more individuality. While farting is one such example, other quirks include how they enjoy their food or having them toss and turn while they sleep.

Nintendo has spoken about the development of Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream, revealing that the game was in development for nearly a decade.
Director Ryutaro Takahashi spoke about what led to the creation of a new entry in the series as part of a recent interview. After talking things over with franchise producer Yoshio Sakamoto and feeling that they had “already squeezed all we could” from the 3DS title, and wanted to make a new game.

Heads up for Rosalina and Samus fans: brand new Nintendo eShop cards are starting to surface at retailers for these characters. They are for $200 and $150 denominations respectively.
For Rosalina, the character is more popular than ever before. After first appearing in Super Mario Galaxy nearly two decades ago, she began to make more appearances such as in the series’ sports games. Now over the past year in particular, Nintendo has made more of a push with Rosalina – she joined Super Mario Bros. Wonder as a new playable character, had the release of her physical storybook, and a role in The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. PikPok, along with Mattel, today announced Barbie: Horse Ride & Rescue for Nintendo Switch 2. The game will hit the platform in 2027.
Barbie: Horse Ride & Rescue is a cozy gaming adventure. In the title, Barbie “Brooklyn” Roberts and Barbie “Malibu” Roberts visit Moonrise Valley to uncover its mysteries and ride to the rescue.

Hairy Heart Games, Harmony Corp Central Committee, and Catamites have revealed a Nintendo Switch release of Anthology of the Killer. It is actually launching as a digital download.
Anthology of the Killer is a comedy horror series. It collects all nine games in the series in one easy loader, complete with additional features like joypad support and bonus rooms.

November 17: Today, Nintendo shared the first official look at The Legend of Zelda movie with the company confirming that production has indeed starting filming.
Over the weekend, it seemed as though footage leaked from the set. Videos also provided a look at a character who has not been announced so far. That footage followed other recent reports that filming had recently started.
