We have an update on Overwatch (previously known as Overwatch 2), as Blizzard just confirmed the release date for the Nintendo Switch 2 version. As it turns out, it’ll be out tomorrow.

One of the highlights of Overwatch on Nintendo Switch 2 is support for up to 60 frames per second for both docked and handheld play. Blizzard says the technical upgrades “make this a much stronger way to experience the game”. There’ll also be better visuals and higher fidelity audio.

The Nintendo Switch 2 version comes in time for Season 2 – Reign of Talon: Summit. Here’s what else is in store:

April 10: Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road has only been sold digitally up to this point, but a physical release has now been revealed which will see the Nintendo Switch 2 version getting a boxed version. It’s coming to Japan on June 11, 2026.

The package will include all updates up to the recently released fourth major free update “The Rising Bond DLC”.

Death end re;Quest Code Z Switch English

Death end re;Quest Code Z is receiving an English release on Nintendo Switch as part of an upcoming launch in Asia, Eastasiasoft and Idea Factory revealed today. The game will be out later in 2026.

This follows the previous partnership for the Hyperdimension Neptunia and Hakuoki series. The game will support Japanese voiceovers with English text.

April 10: A new Nintendo Switch 2 version of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy could be in the works. That’s based on a new rating, which just surfaced today.

The Taiwan Digital Game Rating Committee added in an entry for a potential new Nintendo Switch 2 version today. As of now this has yet to be announced.

Pickmos name change

The team behind Pickmon has announced that the game is changing its name.

In March, Networkgo and PocketGame announced the new project for Nintendo Switch. It became immediately apparent that Pokemon and Palworld were key inspirations.

The latest UK software sales chart for the week ending April 11, 2026 is now available.

Pokemon Pokopia has seen a bit of a boost this time around, moving from #8 to #2. Mario Kart World, which was previously the top Nintendo exclusive, falls from #3 to #5. Resident Evil Requiem is the overall top seller.

Pokemon Winds Waves

It’s time for the latest Famitsu’s most wanted games chart outlining what Japanese gamers are looking forward to based on reader votes.

This time around, Pokemon Winds and Waves have taken over the very top spot. Pragmata was previously at #1 for quite some time. Elsewhere, Yoshi and the Mysterious Book enters the top ten.

Splatoon 3 Spring Fest 2026 Splatfest results

Splatoon 3 players were able to get involved in the latest Splatfest this weekend as the Spring Fest 2026 event took place, and following that, the results are in. The topic had players choosing between Baby Chicks, Li’l Bunnies, and Bear Cubs.

Based on the halftime results, Team Bear Cubs had an extremely slim lead at 34.11 percent. Team Baby Chicks and Team Li’l Bunnies were right behind at 33.16 percent and 32.73 percent respectively.

While there was recently some talk of this happening, the Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream ROM has now leaked online. We can confirm that this has indeed happened.

The good news is that Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream isn’t the typical game that could cause massive harm from leaking in the sense that it’s not story-heavy. Still, this is a heads up that it’s is spreading, and if you want to avoid early looks at the title, tread carefully online over the next few days.
