Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will support mouse and motion controls on Nintendo Switch 2

We’re getting very close to the release of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle on Nintendo Switch 2, with the game set to arrive on May 12. Ahead of launch, developer MachineGames has shared an interesting new detail for those planning to play on Nintendo’s hardware.

The Nintendo Switch 2 version will include support for motion controls across both the Joy-Con 2 and Pro Controller. According to the studio, this feature should be a natural fit for the game’s first-person gameplay.

Additionally, full mouse control support will be implemented using the Joy-Con 2. This functionality will be made available via a day-one update when the game launches. Both control options will include customization settings for players.

“We’ve added two forms of motion controls. First, on Joy-Con or with the Pro Controller, you can choose to use the gyros to assist in aiming / looking. We’ve found this to be a really helpful addition for a first-person game played using a controller. It lets you make subtle and fine adjustments really nicely.

We’ve also added full Mouse controls using the Joy-Cons, as an optional feature (included in the Day One update). For both of those modes, we’ve exposed customization options to allow you to fine tune them as you like. When combined with the full controller remapping options, you’re certain to find a way to play that you enjoy.”
