THQ Nordic announces Destroy All Humans 1 and 2, Epic Mickey: Rebrushed for Nintendo Switch 2

THQ Nordic has announced a few new games for Nintendo Switch 2 with Destroy All Humans, Destroy All Humans 2 – Reprobed, and Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed for the system. All of these games will be released throughout 2026.
Additionally, we have a note on SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide. This one was previously launched on Nintendo Switch 2, but will now come to the original Nintendo Switch.

Hamster is continuing its rollout of Console Archives games for Nintendo Switch 2, and the next one on the docket is Ninja-Kid 2. Look for it tomorrow, March 19.
UPL first released the game in 1988. The action title has players exploring different area as they journey to take down Ashura.

Pokemon Pokopia 1.0.2 update out now, patch notes

Pokemon Pokopia has officially been given its first post-launch update with version 1.0.2.
We previously heard that a few bugs were planned to be fixed along with a couple of improvements. With today’s patch, the different problems have been addressed. If certain issues were previously encountered, they will now be automatically resolved.

Splatoon 3 11.1.0 update announced, patch notes

Nintendo has announced a new version 11.1.0 update for Splatoon 3. It will be released tomorrow night – March 18 in North America / March 19 in Europe.
According to Nintendo, the patch is focused on changes to matchmaking and multiplayer balance. Aside from adjustments to weapons, there are also modifications to X Battle matchmaking.

Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness hits Nintendo Switch Online on Switch 2 in March [update: out now]

February 27: We have an update on Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness on Nintendo Switch Online. As was announced during today’s Pokemon Presents, the game is launching on the service in March for Nintendo Switch 2.
We previously knew this would be happening at some point, but it wasn’t clear when the release would be taking place. Pokemon Colosseum is also planned but there’s currently no word on when it’s dropping.

GVG has put out a video comparison for the new Handheld Mode Boost feature on Nintendo Switch 2 which shows just how much the Switch 1 experience has improved.
The functionality was just released yesterday as part of a new firmware update. When the setting is enabled, your Nintendo Switch 2 system will treat Switch 1 games as if they’re docked while playing portably. That means the resolution will increase for a clearer picture – it’s especially important given that the screen supports 1080p resolution.

Momento announced for Nintendo Switch 2, Switch

Publisher Silver Lining Interactive, along with developers Fat Alien Cat and Nomo Studio, have confirmed that their new cozy room-decorating game Momento is coming to Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. The title does not yet have a specific release date, but it’s currently slated for Q2 2026.
The game is a cozy room-decorating experience featuring charming environments, relaxing gameplay, and engaging branching narratives. Players will be able to decorate their room, choose the items that matter most to them, and discover what those choices mean for the life they lead.
Bit.Trip Rerunner confirmed for Nintendo Switch 2

Choice Provisions will release a Nintendo Switch 2 version of Bit.Trip Rerunner, it’s been confirmed. A campaign to port the game over has been taking place on Kickstarter and the $50,000 goal has been met less than three days before crowdfunding ended.
Bit.Trip Rerunner is a new take on the classic rhythm platformer. Additionally, a level designer is included.
Bit.Trip has a long history on Nintendo platforms and the entire series is currently available on Switch. The franchise originally started out on WiiWare back in 2009.
Nintendo Switch App update 3.3.0 update out now, patch notes

The Nintendo Switch app has received an update, and version 3.3.0 is available. It’s going out now on iOS and Android.
Once the update is installed, you’ll be able to access the new feature that lets you save notes about your friends. This was also just added on Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch.

Sakurai explains why Kirby Air Riders’ roster has many enemy characters

Kirby Air Riders has a decently-sized roster, but many of the characters are enemies. In a new post today, director Masahiro Sakurai explained why that is.
What it comes down to is that it was “easier to create Riders out of enemy characters.” With the different skills in play, they “can be understood by looking at each enemy character’s design.” This is true even from a distance.
