Switch 2

An open beta test for Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok is planned for next week, April 24 – 27. The full game will be launching for Nintendo Switch 2 on July 9, 2026.

This is following the closed beta test held last month, though it seems that this new one will have support for more regions.

Here’s all the details, courtesy of Gematsu:

December 18: Falcom has just announced Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter. The title is slated for both Nintendo Switch, and the Switch 2 sometime in Fall 2026.

This is the sequel to Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter, and part of the ongoing remakes for the Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky series.

Here’s some more information about the game:

Adventures of Elliot Millennium Tales Age of Magic

Square Enix is back with another batch of details for The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales, this time focusing on the Age of Magic. The latest screenshots are also in.

The full roundup is as follows:

April 14: Overwatch just launched on Nintendo Switch 2 today, but things haven’t gone smoothly. Soon after release, players reported issues with the port – notably with performance.

Blizzard promised that the new Nintendo Switch 2 version would run up to 60 frames per second. However, some fans thought that the Nintendo Switch 1 version was accidentally uploaded since the action felt closer to 30 FPS.

Kitaria Fables 2

PQube, Secret Level Studios, and Twin Hearts today unveiled Kitaria Fables 2. The project is in development for Nintendo Switch 2.

This one follows up on the original game that previously came to Nintendo Switch. It follows new heroes Alice and Dusty as they journey on an adventure across the mysterious Arkadera Peninsula. Expect to develop unique combat skills, gather materials, forge powerful items, and tend your farm. Co-op will be supported.

We’ve got more information in the following overview:

Nintendo has gathered a bunch of third-party games together as part a new sale for Switch 2 and Switch. A ton of different titles have been discounted on the Nintendo eShop.

It’s worth noting that a number of games are at new low prices. These include Marvel Cosmic Invasion, Yooka-Replaylee (which just got a Performance Mode update), and Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted.

Vampire Crawlers release date

March 19: Poncle and Nosebleed Interactive just made the release date known for Vampire Crawlers. On Nintendo Switch and elsewhere, it’s lined up for April 21, 2026.

Vampire Crawlers, which follows up on the success of Vampire Survivors, was originally unveiled last November. Other than a 2026 launch window, that was the only release timing we had.

Here’s an overview of the game:

Pragmata frame rate resolution

Pragmata is just about to launch, and Digital Foundry has offered up some technical details about the Nintendo Switch 2 version, including frame rate and resolution.

Overall, there’s a lot to like about this port. Capcom did have to make some graphical cuts, but this is a current-gen game running on the hardware. Probably the biggest issue is the frame rate – it doesn’t really hit 60 FPS, and because it’s unlocked, things may not feel stable.

Here’s the full roundup of tidbits:

Publisher THQ Nordic, in partnership with developer Tarsier Studios, has released update version 1.7 for Reanimal, bringing an important addition for Nintendo Switch 2.

On the console, support for single Joy-Con play has been added for local co-op, meaning each player can now use just one Joy-Con to take on the nightmare together without any extra setup. The update also includes general fixes for crashes, audio, and connectivity, along with a new free cosmetic item, the Bugsplatter Hat.

The full rundown is as follows:

Big news for the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Yooka-Replaylee: 60 frames per second is now supported. This comes as part of an update which just released.

Playtonic has added in a new Performance Mode, which is accessible in the settings. Fidelity Mode has the game running closer to its original release on Nintendo Switch 2. Performance Mode increases the frame rate, but lowers the resolution.
