Pragmata

Pragmata sales

April 20: Capcom revealed the first sales milestone for Pragmata today, revealing that the game has surpassed one million copies sold. This accounts for all platforms combined worldwide.

Capcom didn’t provide a sales breakdown by platform. However, as we just reported, the game debuted in second in the UK physical chart with the Nintendo Switch 2 version accounting for 13 percent of the total.

In its announcement, Capcom said the following:

Following the launch of Pragmata, a new graphics comparison has come in for the Nintendo Switch 2, PS5, and Xbox Series S/X versions.

Much of the details were previously covered in a Digital Foundry report, which we covered here. Capcom did make a number of graphical changes to get the title running on Nintendo Switch 2. However, the end result is that this is still the same game that you can find elsewhere – no cuts were made to the gameplay.

Pragmata frame rate resolution

Pragmata is just about to launch, and Digital Foundry has offered up some technical details about the Nintendo Switch 2 version, including frame rate and resolution.

Overall, there’s a lot to like about this port. Capcom did have to make some graphical cuts, but this is a current-gen game running on the hardware. Probably the biggest issue is the frame rate – it doesn’t really hit 60 FPS, and because it’s unlocked, things may not feel stable.

Capcom sent out another trailer for Pragmata today, which highlights Eight. This character is a Pragmata similar to Diana. Hugh and Diana will come across her during the game.

For a refresher on the title, read the following overview:

Capcom is bringing up the release date for Pragmata. On all platforms, including Nintendo Switch 2, the game is now launching on April 17, 2026.

Capcom was previously planning on an April 24 debut. We’re typically used to seeing delays and not release dates moving up, but it means that fans won’t have to wait quite as long.

Pragmata demo

February 5: A demo for Pragmata is dropping on Nintendo Switch 2 today, Capcom just announced. The news was shared during today’s Nintendo Direct.

Technically we already knew a demo was happening as it was announced alongside the Nintendo Switch 2 version in December. However, it wasn’t clear when exactly it would be made available.

Capcom released a demo for Pragmata yesterday, and with fans getting their hands on the trial, a Nintendo Switch 2 vs. Xbox Series S vs. PS5 graphics comparison video has come in.

It seems that Pragmata runs at a lower resolution than Xbox Series S. However, where Nintendo’s console makes up for it is with better upscaling. The same also applies to filtering and shadow quality with better results on Nintendo Switch 2.

First footage is in giving us a look at Pragmata running on Nintendo Switch 2.

Recently, a preview event was held in which Capcom had a demo on display. We have mostly portable footage, but also a bit of off-screen docked gameplay. While screenshots were previously released from the Nintendo Switch 2 version, now we have a proper look at the game in action.

We have a first look at the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Pragmata. A listing for the game has appeared on the Nintendo eShop, which includes several screenshots.

Capcom slipped in the news that it’s working on a Nintendo Switch 2 version of Pragmata last week. A new trailer debuted at The Game Awards, and at the very end, the company highlighted the fact that it’ll launch for the console alongside all other supported platforms.

Pragmata amiibo

The Nintendo-related news about Pragmata continues, as Capcom has now announced a new Diana amiibo. That piece of information was included in a press release covering today’s newly-revealed Nintendo Switch 2 version and release date.
