Nintendo has uploaded a new Japanese trailer for Tank Troopers, spanning seven minutes in length. Have a look at it below.

Ehm2k from The Cutting Room Floor has been data mining Miitomo, and has come across some curious images in the process. These files seem to be for the upcoming Fire Emblem game for mobile. We’re able to see a map, a stone monument which seems related to the series, and more.

The Cutting Room Floor definitely knows its stuff when it comes to data mining and other things of that nature. It’s also fairly likely that the images are indeed for the Fire Emblem title, as one of them contains the same emblem from Nintendo’s previously-released logo. There were some Zelda files spotted as well, but nothing currently points to them being related to upcoming projects – only old games instead.

Nintendo has started to send out emails to select My Nintendo members in the United States about an opportunity to try out Switch prior to launch.

The message states that another email from Eventbrite will be coming soon, which will have “full details” about the event and opportunity to register. Tickets will be provided “on a first come, first served basis”.

It’s unclear what the criteria is to be sent an invitation. Your location likely plays a role, however.

We’ve included the full email message below.

Last Thursday, a trademark for Excite Truck was filed on the behalf of Nintendo of America. It then entered the Trademark Reporting and Monitoring System yesterday.

The filing will naturally set off speculation as to what Nintendo could be planning for Excite Truck – be it a re-release, a new game, or something else. On the other hand, the trademark could be for nothing at all. We unfortunately won’t have any way of knowing until something official pops up, if it ever does.

Shovel Knight has sold 1.5 million copies, USGamer reports. Although that number isn’t entirely made up of Wii U and 3DS owners, we know that the game performed incredibly well on Nintendo platforms.

Our last Shovel Knight sales update was in April. Yacht Club Games said at the time that 1.2 million copies had been sold and it had shifted 180,000 amiibo figures.
