Dragon is Dead launch trailer – dark fantasy hack-and-slash title comes to Nintendo Switch

With Dragon is Dead hitting consoles, PM Studios and TeamSuneat are celebrating with a launch trailer. This is a new dark fantasy hack-and-slash title for Nintendo Switch.

Dragon is Dead is a dark fantasy hack-and-slash featuring slash-’em-up combat and a variety of unlockable classes, including the elemental-spellcasting Spellblade, the aggressive Berserker and ranged-specialist Hunter. Players can customize class skill trees, slot runes and hunt for Legendary and Mythic loot as they battle through corrupted, ever-shifting levels.

The game recently released their Rift update, introducing a new endgame mode built around speed, build optimization and high-level execution. After clearing Adventure difficulty, players can enter the Rift through NPC Andes at the Source of Succession and fight through 10 escalating waves across 10 maps. Between encounters, players make quick Artifact and item decisions that can dramatically shape each run, rewarding strong adaptation and efficient play. Clearing the final wave grants special Rift-exclusive gems to further refine Legendary options. With the addition of seasonal leaderboards, the update adds another layer of challenge for players looking to optimize builds, sharpen runs and climb the ranks.
