Retirement doesn’t seem to be on the mind of Dragon Quest creator Yuji Horii. In fact, it looks like he’s interested in continuing working until the day that he dies.

Horii spoke about his future in an interview with Game Informer. He spoke about his love for Dragon Quest and how he thinks he’ll be working on it until he passes away. That said, he wants to see Dragon Quest’s 50th anniversary in 2036.

Horii said:

Just a few moments ago, Nintendo and Illumination released the debut trailer for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. It was shared as part of a special Nintendo Direct for the film.

While a trailer technically went online in September, it was more of a teaser that didn’t really show much at all. Today’s video gives us a better idea about the plot.

The creator of the Super Mario manga, Kazuki Motoyama, has passed away at the age of 69. The news was revealed by his sister, Lisa Motoyama, on social media. She did not disclose the cause of death, but expressed her gratitude to everyone who cared for her brother throughout his life.

One of the most iconic characters in the world of gaming once had his own manga series. Super Mario was a manga that portrayed Nintendo’s famous plumber, running from December 1988 to September 1998, with additional chapters published in the sister magazine Deluxe BomBom. In total, 183 stories were released, a series remembered today due to sad news.

A new LEGO set for The Legend of Zelda is in the pipeline. That information was just revealed on social media, alongside a 2026 launch window.

Not much is known at present. In the 12-second teaser, Link is shown in his attire from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Navi is there as well, along with Zelda – who’s in the background and out of focus. Ganon / Ganondorf will likely be appearing as well.

Below is the teaser that went out today:
