Three more classic games are now available on Nintendo Switch Online with Pac-Man, Mendel Palace, and The Tower of Druaga. They can be played on both Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch.

All of these games can be accessed in the NES Nintendo Classics app. The Tower of Druaga counts as an import.

Disney Dreamlight Valley Whispers of the Wind update

March 30: Disney Dreamlight Valley has shared initial details about its next update, known as “Whispers of the Wind”. It’ll be going out on April 8, 2026.

The big addition this time around is the inclusion of Pocahontas. Here’s what Gameloft has shared thus far:

Hello Games’ support for No Man’s Sky isn’t slowing down, and the next update has been revealed. The version 6.3 “Xeno Arena” patch should be out soon on Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch.

The update is now introducing turn-based creature battles to the game. The mechanic features hundreds of unique battle abilities, daily challenges, and more.

Planted

Today, publisher Curveball Games and developer Cloth Cat Games revealed their new game Planted. It’s coming to Nintendo Switch in the future.

Planted is a co-op party game that supports up to four players. Players will sow, grow, and throw produce at goals (and each other) in arena battles as they attempt to rack up points to beat out their opponents.

Paw Patrol Dino World

Nintendo Switch is receiving another Paw Patrol game with the just-announced Paw Patrol: Dino World. It’s due out on July 31, 2026.

Paw Patrol: Dino World is a story-driven adventure game coming from Outright and 3DClouds. In it, players can explore an island, take on rescue missions, and more.

Original: Rumor has it that the Nintendo Switch 2 version of 007 First Light has been hit with its own delay.

007 First Light was originally planned for release for all platforms on March 27, 2026. IO Interactive later pushed the launch back to May 27, 2026, and last we heard, the new date also applied to Nintendo Switch 2. But now apparently there’s been a new delay specific to that console.

Pokemon Champions Pokemon list

A list is now available covering all of the confirmed Pokemon in Pokemon Champions. This is based on various previews, footage, and now that the game is out, the final release.

Pokemon Champions will initially feature a selection of creatures to battle with. While there are over 1,000 Pokemon, it’ll be a long time until Champions hits that number. Currently the roster stands at about 200 (depending on how you count Mega Evolutions) – at least for now. The good news is that we’ve already heard the team will be updating the game, and could even see it being around “forever”.

Nickelodeon Extreme Tennis Next

April 7: Today, Gameloft unveiled Nickelodeon Extreme Tennis Next for Nintendo Switch. The game is launching on May 28, 2026.

Nickelodeon Extreme Tennis is a fast-paced arcade tennis game featuring popular characters from SpongeBob, Avatar, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and more. Expect character customization, a story mode, split-screen multiplayer, and more.

Polaris will be appearing on Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch through the Arcade Archives series, it’s been announced. The game will be released tomorrow, April 9.

Taito first brought out the game in 1980. The shooter has players controlling a submarine as they use missiles to take down enemies from all directions.

Console Archives Seicross

We’ve heard from Hamster that another Console Archives game is releasing on Nintendo Switch 2, which is Seicross. Look for it tomorrow, April 9.

Nichibutsu originally made Seicross. The game debuted in 1986 and is a shooter in which players pilot a hover bike to save the peaceful people of Petra.
