Revealed today, Froggy Hates Snow will be appearing on Nintendo Switch. Digital Bandidos and Crying Brick are bringing it out on May 7, 2026.

Froggy Hates Snow is a survival roguelike. You’ll take control of a frog that digs through freezing snow, uncovers treasures, unlocks upgrades, and battles mystical creatures.

You are Froggy – a determined survivor in a hostile, snowy desert. Dig paths through the snow to discover treasure, battle eerie creatures, and adapt in a world where warmth is survival and the freezing temperatures aren’t the only thing that can kill!

Stay out too long and you’ll freeze, unless you’ve upgraded your abilities to withstand it. But the cold is not alone. Eerie obsidian-black creatures prowl the drifts, each with unique behaviors and attacks. Mysterious anomaly zones offer deadly challenges with huge rewards. Use the snow as cover or blast it apart with flamethrowers and explosives to gain the upper hand.

Each run begins safely at your home, but the frozen wasteland beyond is full of choices:

• Venture further to uncover scattered treasures, traps, and secrets.
• Carry resources back to enable and upgrade your abilities: become a faster digger, tougher fighter, or more resistant to the cold.
• Choose between spending keys on treasure chests or saving them to open the escape door.
• Unlock tools like flamethrowers, explosives, and skis for new ways to dig, move, and fight.
• Recruit helpful companions like penguins, moles, and owls, each with special abilities to aid your journey.
