Wanderstop physical release on the way to Nintendo Switch 2

iam8bit, Ivy Road, and Annapurna Interactive have announced a new physical release for Wanderstop on Nintendo Switch 2. The game is due out in boxed form on August 28, 2026.

Each copy will include some bonuses. Fans will be provided with a sticker pack, a double-sided poster, and an o-sleeve as an iam8bit exclusive. Note that the full game will be on the cartridge.

Wanderstop will initially make its debut on Nintendo Switch via the eShop on June 23. Below is some information about the game:

Wanderstop is the critically acclaimed reflective game centered around the impact of burnout and learning to let go. Players can join Alta’s story as she completes her own personal journey, connecting the complexities of work-life balance while meeting a cast of unique characters along the way. Both the iam8bit exclusive PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 versions of the game come with unique sticker packs featuring some of the in-game fungi and a double-sided 12”x 18” foldout poster of Alta, Boro and the flask of chaotic puffins.

Outside of the Wanderstop physical edition, there’s also a vinyl release planned with the Wanderstop 2xLP and Wanderstop FM 2xLP, also shipping on August 28. The Wanderstop 2xLP is pressed on sunny yellow palm while the Wanderstop FM 2xLP comes in seed pink, which is inspired by the whimsical in-game color palette. Nat F. is handling the album art.
