Darwin's Paradox update

Konami, in partnership with ZDT Studio, today announced a new update for Darwin’s Paradox. Nintendo Switch 2 players can access it soon.

The update includes quality-of-life improvements and major bug fixes based on player feedback such as performance optimizations. Additionally, new visual customization options are planned.

The full rundown is as follows:

Community Patch main fixes:

  • Better visibility for certain lethal hazards
  • Adjusted enemy behaviors and patrol patterns
  • Reworked camera angles to help you anticipate what’s ahead
  • Improved lighting in several areas
  • Improved handling of the robot suit in “Suiting Up!” chapters
  • Fixed sections that could lead to soft-lock situations
  • Fine-tuned checkpoint placement
  • Shorter respawn times to improve pacing
  • Refined puzzles with clearer hints
  • Reduced frequency of Help System prompts
  • Performance optimizations
  • Bugs fixes
  • New cinematic effects settings:
    • Motion Blur
    • Sharpen
    • Grain
    • Vignetting
    • Chromatic Aberration
