Darwin’s Paradox update announced, patch notes – performance improvements, visual options, more
Konami, in partnership with ZDT Studio, today announced a new update for Darwin’s Paradox. Nintendo Switch 2 players can access it soon.
The update includes quality-of-life improvements and major bug fixes based on player feedback such as performance optimizations. Additionally, new visual customization options are planned.
The full rundown is as follows:
Community Patch main fixes:
- Better visibility for certain lethal hazards
- Adjusted enemy behaviors and patrol patterns
- Reworked camera angles to help you anticipate what’s ahead
- Improved lighting in several areas
- Improved handling of the robot suit in “Suiting Up!” chapters
- Fixed sections that could lead to soft-lock situations
- Fine-tuned checkpoint placement
- Shorter respawn times to improve pacing
- Refined puzzles with clearer hints
- Reduced frequency of Help System prompts
- Performance optimizations
- Bugs fixes
- New cinematic effects settings:
- Motion Blur
- Sharpen
- Grain
- Vignetting
- Chromatic Aberration
