Mag Max is this week’s Console Archives on Nintendo Switch 2
Hamster confirmed today that Mag Max is next up on the docket for its Console Archives series. The game will be out tomorrow, May 7.
In Magmax, players take control of a transformable mecha to rescue humanity from the domination of an alien computer. Nichibutsu originally released this one in 1986.

Magmax was released by Nichibutsu in 1986 for an 8-bit home console. This is a shooting game where you pilot a transformable mecha (Magmax) as the chosen hero, to rescue humanity from the domination of an alien computer known as Babylon. Travel between above ground and underground using warp holes, and defeat approaching enemies with energy beams.
