Nintendo published a new interview for Kirby Air Riders focused entirely on the game’s music. Director Masahiro Sakurai, along with composers Noriyuki Iwadare and Shogo Sakai, participated in the discussion.

Early on the in the interview, Sakurai was asked about the musical concepts he shared with when requesting Iwadare and Sakai to help out with the project. That led him to stressing the concept of kids being being able to sing along – he feels that “a song that even a child can sing says a lot.”

Sakurai stated in the interview:

Bandai Namco has come out with a launch trailer for Tales of Berseria Remastered. Starting tomorrow, Nintendo fans will be able to play the RPG thanks to its Switch release.

Kirby Air Riders 1.3.1 update

Kirby Air Riders has just received another beefy update, which is version 1.3.1.

The update adds support for the upcoming amiibo. Additionally, there are a ton of balance adjustments here for riders and machines. And of course, you’re getting the latest bug fixes.

Tales of Arise frame rate resolution

Nintendo Switch 2 is getting its first Tales of game, Tales of Arise, and new details are available covering the frame rate and resolution.

First, let’s talk about frame rate. For the most part, Tales of Arise runs at 30 frames per second on Nintendo Switch 2. The only exception is cutscenes, which bumps things up to 60 FPS. Note that the frame rate may temporarily fluctuate depending on what’s happening on screen.

Bandai Namco is throwing more support on Nintendo Switch 2, and just announced Tales of Arise – Beyond the Dawn Edition. It’s seeing release on May 22, 2026.

Tales of Arise – Beyond the Dawn Edition marks the RPG’s first appearance on a Nintendo platform. Along with the base game, you’ll be getting the Beyond the Dawn expansion and some other DLC.

Digimon Story Time Stranger

Digimon Story Time Stranger is slated for both Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch, Bandai Namco has announced. It’ll be ready to go on July 10, 2026.

Digimon Story: Time Stranger initially launched towards the end of last year. Performance Mode and Quality Modes will be supported on Nintendo Switch 2.

Tales of Berseria Remastered Eleanor

Another character trailer is in for Tales of Berseria Remastered, which puts the focus on Eleanor.

Eleanor is a women with a very serious personality and a rigid side looking to uncover the truth. As someone associated with the Abbey, an organization that is about protecting people from daemons, she safeguards the world.

Tales of remake

The Tales of series has seen a lot of remasters over the past couple of years, but how about a remake? Could we get one of those down the road? Bandai Namco has now commented on the possibility.

Yuusuke Tomizawa, the current director for the Tales of IP, shared a few words in this month’s issue of Game Informer. While noting that Bandai Namco has had “lots of discussions internally about potential ones” and “it’s a possibility”, he also pointed out that there could be a ton of work involved – the amount of resources could even exceed that of an entirely new game.

Tales of Berseria Remastered Eizen

Bandai Namco today issued the latest Tales of Berseria Remastered character trailer, this time spotlighting Eizen.

The official description notes that he’s known as the “Reaper”. Despite being a Malak, he sails alongside humans. How he acts makes pirates trust him. He’s currently the first mate on Aifread’s ship, the Van Eltia.
