Level-5 gave a brief update on Inazuma Eleven Re, which includes the news that the game will be released on Nintendo Switch 2.
The project was previously announced last year for the original Nintendo Switch. It’s a remake of the very first Inazuma Eleven that retells Mamoru Endo’s first story with new features. Of course, the graphics have been refreshed.
Today, Level-5 provided an update on Professor Layton and the New World of Steam. The company is planning the game for Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch.
As part of a presentation today, Level-5 said that Professor Layton and the New World of Steam is still on track for this year and will be launching at the end of 2026. Development is said to be progressing smoothly.
Level-5 is developing Snack World: Reloaded for NIntendo Switch 2, the company just revealed. A release date was not provided.
According to Level-5, this is a remake of Snack World: The Dungeon Crawl – Gold. The game originally released on Nintendo 3DS in 2017 as a Japan-only title with a Switch version following in 2020 worldwide.
Nintendo is back with another update for Mario Kart World, bringing the game up to version 1.6.1.
This patch is about bug fixes, so there aren’t any new additions here. Nintendo addressed two specific issues this time around.

A new piece of Nintendo history is making the rounds as a prototype of Punch-Out has surfaced. It’s claimed that the cartridge initially belonged to a former Nintendo of America employee who sold it in a garage sale.
The prototype was obtained at auction for $45,000. After it was purchased, the ROM was dumped online through The Cutting Room Floor – meaning anyone can access it now.
Death by Scrolling received its release date on Nintendo Switch today, and the game is just on the horizon. Look for it on April 16, 2026.
Death by Scrolling, a roguelike RPG, comes from Monkey Island creator Ron Gilbert. A Nintendo Switch version was confirmed last October.
We’re a step closer to Neverway’s release date as an update on launch timing was just shared. We now know that the game is due out this October.
Neverway is co-directed by Pedro Medeiros, the artist behind Celeste and TowerFall and Isadora Sophia, previously a senior software engineer at Microsoft who created the game’s Murder Engine. Heidy Motta, who helms operations and community, previously from Celeste and TowerFall, is also involved. Outersloth, the funding arm of Innersloth (Among Us), is funding the project.
Graveyard Keeper is getting a sequel with the just-announced Graveyard Keeper 2. Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch will be getting the title later in 2026.
Graveyard Keeper 2 builds off the first entry with a new medieval cemetery sim. Players will restore The Town, manage the graveyard, automate production, lead an undead army into battle, and turn the zombie problem into a thriving business.
