A remaster for Poker Night at the Inventory launched this week, and we have the launch trailer for the cult classic. The comedy poker game comes courtesy of Skunkape Games, a small team of former Telltale employees who worked on the original.

Here’s the official description:

System: Switch
Release date: February 26, 2026
Developer: Bandai Namco
Publisher: Bandai Namco

My experience with Bandai Namco’s storied Tales of franchise amounts ultimately to my time playing Tales of Symphonia and Tales of Vesperia, two games I loved playing dearly a few years back due to several of their characters appearing in the Nintendo 3DS Project X Zone series of games and piquing my interest in learning about their original stories. After Namco’s recent remasters of the above mentioned Tales titles, I was excited to branch out and play some titles in the series I had yet to experience; Tales of Berseria was one of them. The slightly different style of JRPG gameplay and more intense storytelling appealed to me, and having the main protagonist be a female character was a cool switch-up to what I’d experienced previously and was curious how that would impact the way the story was presented. While the storytelling of Tales of Berseria is unquestionably the highlight of the game, this specific version perhaps has not done enough to justify a brand-new release with a ‘remaster’ title.

The next Nintendo Switch 2 game from Xbox isn’t too far away as South of Midnight just received its release game. It’s heading to the system on March 31, 2026.

South of Midnight was previously confirmed for Nintendo Switch 2 at The Game Awards last year. We knew it was coming this spring, but now we have a proper date.

Here’s an overview of the game:

2K has readied a launch trailer for WWE 2K26. The game technically won’t be available until next week, but can be played now by picking up one of the special editions.

Multiple movie theatre chains have announced that they’ll be offering a limited-time, Yoshi themed popcorn bucket for the release of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie.

Usually movie theatre chains try to one up each other by making their own exclusive collectibles, but strangely enough it seems like the big guys have decided to share this time. AMC Theatres, Regal Cinemas, and Cinemark have all announced that they’ll be offering the Yoshi bucket.

Once Upon a Katamari has released a new update with version 1.1.0.

The update adds a bit of free content, makes some adjustments, and implements some fixes. Separately, the Katamari Damacy Series Neo Remixes is now available, featuring five remix tracks and ten accessories from the series’ past.

The full rundown is as follows:

A new Direct for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie Direct will air on Monday, March 9, Nintendo just announced. It will air at 2 PM PT / 5 PM ET.

Nintendo will be showing off the latest trailer for the film here. This is strictly about the movie, so don’t expect any game information during the presentation.

Yakuza series chief director Ryosuke Horii has spoken about why it’s so important for the Yakuza series to be represented on Nintendo Switch 2.

SEGA has slowly been bringing over the franchise’s different games since the console launched last year. This continued with Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties last month. It was notable since for the first time, the series had a new game launching day and date on a Nintendo system alongside other platforms.

Nikkei xTrend recently asked Horii about Yakuza coming to Nintendo Switch 2. Although he’s unsure if the series will sell well on the console immediately, he believes potential fans could pick up the games down the road and the approach allows SEGA to broaden its reach.

Thanks to Hidden Trap and Mellow Games, we now have the release date for Blueberry. The game is hitting Nintendo Switch on May 28, 2026.

Blueberry, a story-driven puzzle platformer that immerses players in the mental world of a woman whose life has been marked by trauma, was confirmed for Nintendo Switch at the end of 2024. That reveal didn’t include information about launch timing.

If you missed it the first time around, here’s some information about the game:

Koei Tecmo put out a demo for Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly Remake on all platforms this week, which is allowing fans to put a Nintendo Switch 2 vs. PS5 vs. Xbox Series S/X graphics comparison.

Right now the biggest concern on all platforms might be performance. Although the game targets 30 frames per second everywhere, we’re hearing that it can be unstable. The Nintendo Switch 2 version has a dynamic 1080p resolution from a roughly common 720p-576.
