Going along with the debut of Ys Memoire: Revelations in Celceta on Nintendo Switch, we have a new launch trailer. The action RPG made a comeback with an updated release featuring enhanced visuals and the option to play while listening to the original soundtrack or a newly rearranged musical score.

Pokemon Legends: Z-A’s tenth ranked battles season is live now, and it allows Mythical and sub-Legendary Pokemon but doesn’t allow heavy hitters like Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza, Xerneas, and Yveltal. By this point, we’re assuming a good chunk of you who are still playing ranked battles are doing so for the sake of some of the in-game achievements. If you happen to be going for Consummate Gamer, there’s one specific Pokemon allowed in this format that’s going to consistently ruin your day!

A new first-party sale is live on Amazon that discounts a number of Nintendo’s Switch releases.
What’s interesting here is that the digital versions are on sale. Typically, it’s physical that we’re talking about. When retailers do offer discounts on digital versions, it’s usually just price-matching a specific sale that Nintendo has on the eShop.
This Is Fine: Maximum Cope out on Nintendo Switch this week

After it was confirmed for the platform at the end of 2024, This Is Fine: Maximum Cope will be appearing on Nintendo Switch this week. A listing on the Nintendo eShop shows a release date of May 1, 2026.
This Is Fine: Maximum Cope is based on the famous meme. Hero Concept turned it into “a Metroidvania of mental mayhem.”

Tetris 99 announces 53rd Maximus Cup with Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream theme

Another Tetris 99 event has been revealed, and this time fans will have the chance to earn a new Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream theme as part of the game’s 53rd Maximus Cup.
Just like with previous Maximus Cups, you’ll be able to face off against others online. Once you’ve reached 100 event points, you’ll unlock the Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream theme in Tetris 99. It has special art, music, and Tetrimino designs.
VGP Nintendo Switch physical release reprint updates

VGP – or VideoGamesPlus – has started to make more noise in the video game space over the past few years. While the Canadian retailer has been selling games for awhile, it’s also now become known for restocks of physical releases on Nintendo Switch. Titles that were generally sold out elsewhere or are hard to come by have been returning at VGP on a regular basis.
Going forward, we’ll be using this post to keep track of Switch physical release reprint / restock updates at VGP. Note that while the retailer is based in Canada, shipping is available in various regions including the United States and the UK. Also, keep in mind that some restocks sell out quickly so you may want to make a move sooner rather than later if you’re interested in a particular game.
Rugrats: Retro Rewind revealed for Nintendo Switch

Today, Limited Run Games pulled back on its latest project Rugrats: Retro Rewind, which is in the works for Nintendo Switch. A digital release is set for May 15, 2026 with physical versions to follow.
The package includes six classic Rugrats titles featuring the iconic babies from the ’90s. There’ll also be various quality-of-life features, including screen filters, save states, rewind, and a music player.

The next free character for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is coming soon with SEGA announcing the release date for Captain Majima. This new update is going live on April 29, 2026 at 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET.
Of course, Goro Majima (Captain Majima) will be available as as a playable character. On top of that, the Goromaru will be added. Special emotes and sounds are also planned.

The latest UK software sales chart for the week ending April 25, 2026 is now available.
Last week, Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream was in first with Pragmata following in second. Now, however, things have mixed up a bit. Pragmata has actually moved up to first. Tomodachi Life is still doing well, but slips to third.

It’s time for the latest Famitsu’s most wanted games chart outlining what Japanese gamers are looking forward to based on reader votes.
Pokemon Winds and Waves has had a pretty solid hold on the top spot as of late, and that’s once again the case this week. Other games like Splatoon Raiders and Rhythm Heaven Groove are also moving up.
