Mario Kart Tour age rating increase

Over in Brazil, Mario Kart Tour has received a rating change with the game moving up to 18+. This essentially means that it’s not recommended for those below that age.

This is one of the highest classifications possible in the country. Nintendo hasn’t shared information about this officially, but some are speculating that gambling and loot boxes are to blame.

The Nintendo Switch app has received an update, and version 3.3.0 is available. It’s going out now on iOS and Android.

Once the update is installed, you’ll be able to access the new feature that lets you save notes about your friends. This was also just added on Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch.

We have a brief update on Mega Man: Dual Override, as Capcom has now teased the game’s Robot Masters. The image above, coming from the new Capcom Spotlight presentation, shows their silhouettes.

Recently, Capcom held a fan contest in which fans were able to submit designs for a Robot Master. The six winners were announced today, pictured below.

Super Mario Run is back with another special event, this time it’s a tie in with Super Mario Bros. Wonder Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park. The event is currently being held to players of the mobile game, and will be ongoing until April 3, 2026.

Nintendo Today 3.0.0 update

Nintendo Today is back with its latest update, with the app moving up to version 3.0.0.

According to Nintendo, some issues have been fixed. This is one of those instances, however, in which the specifics weren’t provided.

Pokemon Champions, which was first announced last year, is all about battling with your favorite creatures. The title “will feature familiar mechanics such as Pokemon types, Abilities, and moves, creating an environment conducive to rich and varied strategies for new and experienced Trainers alike.”

Pokemon Champions has confirmed its launch timing, which is set for April on Nintendo Switch and the mobile version following this summer. News about the game just dropped during today’s Pokemon Presents event.

Pokemon Champions was actually announced exactly one year ago today. The battle-focused game was known to be coming sometime this year, but beyond that, we didn’t have specific timing.

Today, it was announced that the new Nintendo Switch releases of Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen will support Pokemon Home connectivity.

There was previously confusion as to what was happening here. It was technically confirmed when Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen were announced last week, but that news was scrubbed by The Pokemon Company. It seems they were only waiting for the official Pokemon Day announcement.
