Hollow Knight 1.5.12459 update patch notes

Hollow Knight came out with a Nintendo Switch 2 Edition yesterday, and as part of that, a version 1.5.12459 update has been made available.
Although there’s nothing earth shattering here, there’s actually a bit more to the patch than you might have expected. Team Cherry made subtle tweaks and adjustments such as pausing in inventory menus, making gameplay adjustments such as reducing Grey Prince Zote’s stagger bounce height, and more.

Square Enix explains why it used a new “doll-like art style” for Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined

One of the bigger talking points surrounding Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined when it was first revealed was its graphics, which Square Enix has officially labeled as “doll-like art style”. Previously, the company seemed like it was going all-in on the HD-2D look. But now we’re getting something that we hadn’t really seen before, especially from Square Enix.
In an interview with Nintendo Everything, producer Takeshi Ichikawa spoke about the new art style for Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined. Ichikawa explained that the team wanted to come up with a look that would be appealing worldwide. Also, Square Enix was looking to “depict the depth and feel of Dragon Quest 7’s story more vividly”.

Console Archives reveals initial lineup of games

Hamster announced its new Console Archives line yesterday which follows in the footsteps of Arcade Archives, and now the company has shared the initial wave of games. This comes as part of a live stream that aired today.
Specific release dates haven’t been shared. However, we know that the following games are currently on the way:

Super Bomberman Collection Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch physical release detailed, pre-orders open

After Super Bomberman Collection was revealed and launched for Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch yesterday, information has come through about the physical release. Red Art Games is in charge of production.
The company is planning a standard version, Deluxe Edition, and Collector’s Edition. The physical release will be available for Nintendo Switch on August 25, 2026 in North America and August 28 in Europe. Super Bomberman Collection will be available from major retailers at launch on Nintendo Switch, but the Switch 2 Edition is exclusive to VGP in North America and redartgames.com exclusive in Europe.

Level-5 isn’t slowing down with its support for Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time, and has now come out with a version 2.1.0 update which is pretty substantial.
Highlights include Dream Challenge (High-difficulty Boss Battle), new items, enhanced charge attacks and special skills, and adjustment of the Mystery Box at the Celestia Exchange. This doesn’t cover everything as there are additional adjustments, fixes, and more.

Square Enix has come out with more details on The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales. The title is slated to release for Nintendo Switch 2 on June 18, 2026.
Some of the bigger pieces of information shared, are the changes made to the game after the reception of the free demo. They specifically mention increasing the player’s movement speed, adding new difficulty levels, and adding quality of life changes in a few interfaces.

A showcase for Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok has been released detailing loads of information about the game. The title will be making its way towards Nintendo Switch 2 on July 9, 2026.
Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok announced for Nintendo Switch 2 during yesterday’s Nintendo Direct. The title is an upgraded version of Granblue Fantasy: Relink, which never made it to Nintendo platforms. The Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game will have the exclusive feature of local co-op, and the title will support cross-play across all platforms.

For those who own Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 on Nintendo Switch, a new version 1.3.1 update can now be accessed.
This appears to be a pretty small patch in nature. According to Nintendo, the game’s software information has been updated. That is apparently all there is.
