Minishoot' Adventures

Various announcements were made for Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch as part of the latest Indie World Showcase, including Minishoot’ Adventures. It’s launching on both systems today.

Minishoot’ Adventures is a twin-stick, shoot ’em up action game that acts as a modern twist on the classic 8-bit adventure formula. While on a mission to save your friends, you’ll fight your way from the shiny overworld to the deepest caves, improve your ship, and overcome dungeon bosses.

After it was previously announced for Nintendo Switch, a Switch 2 version has now been confirmed. It’s coming to both platforms this summer.

Woodo is the cozy puzzle game from Daedalic and Tiny Monks Tales. It’s confirmed that the Nintendo Switch 2 version will support mouse controls.

Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault will be appearing on Nintendo Switch 2, it’s been announced. Look for the game later in 2026.

Heavo Ho 2

During today’s Indie World Showcase, Heavo Ho 2 was announced for both Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch. The game launches this summer.

Heavo Ho 2 is a new entry in the party game series. On Nintendo Switch 2, GameShare will be supported, allowing one player with the game to share it locally or online with up to three other players.

My Little Puppy release date

The release date for My Little Puppy is now confirmed. Fans can pick up the title for Nintendo Switch on May 29, 2026.

My Little Puppy was originally made known last year. The release date news has now come in thanks to the Indie World Showcase.

Denshattack

Denshattack will be releasing on Nintendo Switch 2, Fireshine Games and Undercoders announced today. It will be available on June 17, 2026. A demo goes live today.

Denshattack is an off-the-rails extreme action-adventure platformer game. Those who purchase the Nintendo Switch version can access an exclusive train skin.

The March 2026 Indie World Showcase will be starting soon, and fans can tune in with the official live stream. It begins at 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET / 2 PM in the UK / 3 PM in Europe.

Nintendo has only said that the new presentation will cover indie games for Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch. The video is keeping in line with past ones as it’ll be about 15 minutes long (though the Japanese one will be 25 minutes).

Nintendo is reducing the cost of Switch Online in Brazil, the company has announced. The change will impact individual and family plans for both the standard membership and the Expansion Pack tier.

Nintendo sent out the notice to users by email. New prices will be going into effect on April 1, 2026.

Nintendo published a new interview for Kirby Air Riders focused entirely on the game’s music. Director Masahiro Sakurai, along with composers Noriyuki Iwadare and Shogo Sakai, participated in the discussion.

Early on the in the interview, Sakurai was asked about the musical concepts he shared with when requesting Iwadare and Sakai to help out with the project. That led him to stressing the concept of kids being being able to sing along – he feels that “a song that even a child can sing says a lot.”
