To celebrate the launch of Wax Heads, Curve Games and Patattie Games have uploaded a launch trailer. The love letter to music culture, which comes in the form of a cozy-punk indie sim, arrived on Nintendo Switch this week.

All of the important details can be found in the following overview:

In a small northern town lies Repeater Records, a beloved record shop known for always recommending the right vinyl to the right customer. Wax Heads invites players to step behind the counter as the newest employee, where they’ll chat with eccentric customers, find the perfect records, and goof off with their co-workers. As the shop tries to find its place in a changing world, players will help shape the musical experiences and human connections found in Repeater Records and beyond.

The game’s narrative focuses on the community-driven nature of music, showcasing how songs and albums can connect people – from serving as a reminder of a cherished memory, to moments spent bonding over a shared love of a tune.

All 30+ songs and 70+ albums featured in-game are entirely original to Wax Heads, spanning a wide range of genres from pop and punk to metal, rap, folk, and more. Combined with charming dialogue, emotional stakes, and relatable drama, there is something for everyone to be found at Repeater Records.
