Solarpunk moves from Nintendo Switch to Switch 2, release date and new trailer

Today, it was revealed that Solarpunk will be appearing on Nintendo Switch 2. Additionally, a June 8, 2026 release date was provided.
Solarpunk was previously announced back in 2023 for Nintendo Switch. A new trailer today makes no mention of that version, so it seems that things have shifted to the new console.

Publisher Rokaplay and developer Cyberwave have announced Solarpunk for Switch. The project is currently targeting a Steam Early Access launch for 2024 with consoles, including Switch, to follow.
Solarpunk actually ended up on Kickstarter this week where it already found a ton of success. In its first day, the campaign smashed its €30,000 funding goal.
