One of the standout games from the latest Nintendo Direct, Resident Evil Requiem has been receiving widespread praise on social media after its handheld gameplay on the Nintendo Switch 2 was showcased (you can check out the full details here). There’s an interesting tidbit about the newly-revealed Nintendo Switch 2 version of Resident Evil Requiem, which is that it looks like this version will be cheaper compared to other consoles.
Capcom just announced plans to bring the horror game over to Nintendo’s latest platform during a Direct last week. Retailers have now started putting up listings – which gives us a look at the price point.

It’s official: Resident Evil Requiem is inbound for Nintendo Switch 2. The game launches on February 27, 2026.
That’s not the only news about the series. Resident Evil 7: Biohazard and Resident Evil Village are on the way as well – both are launching on the same day.
