Ren & Stimpy Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy Collection

January 27: Limited Run Games is making Ren & Stimpy Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy Collection for Nintendo Switch, the company just announced. A release date was not shared, but we’ll keep you updated on that front.

Ren & Stimpy Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy Collection includes five different games. You’ll be getting the following:

Darwin's Paradox physical

In an announcement today, Limited Run Games revealed that it’s prepping a physical release of Darwin’s Paradox for Nintendo Switch 2.

The title will have a standard version and a collector’s edition. With the latter, you’ll receive a copy of the game, a slipcover, original CD soundtrack, lithograph, a figure, an engraved wooden pin, and an individually numbered certificate of authenticity.

Prison City physical

Today, Retroware and Programancer announced a major update for Prison City along with reconfirmation of a physical release.

The patch contains quality-of-life improvements, a brand-new special attack, mini-games, and more. Highlights of version 1.0.4.0 include:

Jurassic Park Classic Games Collection, which previously launched on Nintendo Switch, will soon be delisted. Limited Run Games shared the news today that impacts all platforms.

The delisting will take place on March 31, 2026. After that date, it will no longer be possible to buy the package from the Nintendo eShop. However, those that previously made a purchase will be able to access everything as normal.

FZ Formation Z physical

It was already confirmed that FZ: Formation Z would be receiving a physical release on Nintendo Switch 2 in Japan, but Limited Run Games has now announced something similar for the west.

The company is preparing a standard version of the game. Along with a booklet, each copy includes a reversible cover. A Deluxe Edition will also be available which adds a slip-lid box, four art cards, the soundtrack, art book, and a plastic build kit.

Jaws Retro Edition

December 10: Limited Run Games has revealed its latest classic title for Nintendo Switch, which is Jaws: Retro Edition. The company hasn’t confirmed launch timing presently.

This marks the return of the original NES game. On top of that, it looks like we’re getting a brand new “Enhanced Version” containing extra content.

Fear Effect 2 Retro Helix

October 25: Fear Effect 2: Retro Helix will be appearing on Nintendo Switch, Limited Run Games just announced in partnership with Square Enix. It’s due out in 2026.

Limited Run Games shared its plans for Fear Effect 2: Retro Helix during a LRG3 event today, which includes a future physical release.

A physical release for Lollipop Chainsaw Repop is on the way for Nintendo Switch 2, Limited Run Games has announced.

The full experience will be included on the cartridge, so no game-key card here. This comes with the Nintendo Switch 2 version plus the upgrade pack. You’ll also receive a 48-page art book as a bonus.

Fear Effect 2 physical

Limited Run Games today shared details about its Nintendo Switch physical release for Fear Effect 2, which comes in two forms.

As always, there’ll be a standard copy available. On top of that, Limited Run is prepping a Deluxe Edition, which contains the game, CD soundtrack, double-sided poster, game case keychain, and a lenticular pin.

Snow Bros. Classic Collection

November 12: Snow Bros. Classic Collection is in development for Nintendo Switch, Limited Run Games and Headless Chicken revealed today. Launch timing wasn’t shared.

Snow Bros. Classic Collection features the original Snow Bros. with multiple versions. You’ll be getting the game from its appearance on the SEGA Genesis, Game Boy, and NES.
