After it was announced close to a year ago, Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream now has a release date on Nintendo Switch. Nintendo just shared the news that the game is planned to launch on April 16, 2026.
Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream continues the series that started many years ago. This is the first new entry in over a decade.

January 28: It’s official: The Disney Afternoon Collection is coming to both Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch.
It was looking extremely liking that we’d be getting both games on these systems following a rating from the ESRB. But now listings have appeared on the Nintendo eShop, confirming the release.

We have the live stream for the Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream Direct, which will be beginning soon. The event begins at 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET / 2 PM in the UK / 3 PM in Europe.
Today’s presentation will be about 20 minutes long. After the game was announced about a year ago, we’ll finally be getting an extensive look at the game.

January 27: This week’s issue of Famitsu has revealed Villion: Code, which is in the works for Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch. A release is planned for June 25, 2026 in Japan.
This is a new school RPG from Kouji Okada, the co-creator of Megami Tensei and Persona. It takes place in a university town of an isolated island floating in Tokyo Bay in the near future. Here students and teachers who have mutated into monsters are present. The game features procedurally generated dungeons and there’s “real-time speed action” combat”.

BlazBlue Entropy Effect X reveals Dead Cells and Icey collaborations

BlazBlue: Entropy Effect X will features collaborations with Dead Cells as well as Icey, Astrolabe Games and 91Act announced today.
Both franchises were included in the PC original as DLC. However, they will now be included in the Nintendo Switch version at no extra cost.

January 27: Thanks to a listing on the Nintendo eShop, we’ve got the release date for Scott Pilgrim EX. The game is planned for March 3, 2026.
Scott Pilgrim EX was previously announced last year. While we knew it was slated for 2026, now we have a proper date.

Stardew Valley is Europe’s next Nintendo Switch Online Game Trial

A new Nintendo Switch Online Game Trial has now been announced for Europe, which is Stardew Valley.
It can be played for free with an active membership starting tomorrow, January 29, lasting until February 4. Progress will transfer to the full game if you decide to make a purchase later.

Today, Hamster announced that Quester will be joining the Arcade Archives line on Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch. It’ll be out tomorrow, January 29.
Namco initially launched the game in 1987. This is a brick breaker that tasks players with safely returning to Earth as they defeat enemies, which come in the form of blocks.

Rightfully, Beary Arms announced for Nintendo Switch

Developer Daylight Basement Studio has announced that its latest game, Rightfully, Beary Arms, the pawsome bullet-hell roguelite, is heading to Nintendo Switch in 2026, though a specific release window has not yet been shared.
In the game, players take on the role of Beary, the cutest (and deadliest) teddy bear in the galaxy, battling against the evil Boo Bees and Battery Boys in fast-paced encounters that grow increasingly challenging. Players can transform weapons like Catling Guns and FoamBalls into tools of mass destruction through powerful modifiers.
Each level is completed by choosing from a selection of items, allowing players to influence and shape their build as they progress.
