Switch 2

The latest Japanese hardware sales from Famitsu are as follows:

Disgaea Mayhem

Disgaea Mayhem, which just launched in Japan last month as Kyouran Makaism, has now been confirmed for the west. NIS America is localizing the title for a Summer 2026 launch on Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch.

Disgaea Mayhem is an action-focused game rather than a tactical RPG. NIS America is planning a limited edition for this one, but note that it’ll be a game-key card on Nintendo Switch 2.

Here’s some additional information:

It’s time for the newest North American Nintendo Download Switch report for the week of February 26, 2026. The latest releases on the Nintendo eShop include Pokemon FireRed/LeafGreen, Resident Evil Requiem, Tales of Berseria Remastered, and more.

Here’s the full roundup:

Resident Evil Requiem graphics comparison

September 12: After it was just announced for Nintendo Switch 2 today, a Resident Evil Requiem graphics comparison has already come in that puts it up against the PS5 version.

We’ll have a better idea about how the game looks and runs on Nintendo’s console, but so far, the results are fairly impressive. There are some changes here and there, but this shows that the system is capable of running current-gen titles. It’s far different from what we used to see with games that were downgraded for Nintendo Switch 1 – and many projects simply couldn’t run on the platform.

The latest European Nintendo Downloads for the week of February 26, 2026 are as follows:

Sonic Racing CrossWorlds Tangle & Whisper

February 24: Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds isn’t slowing down on its rollout of content, and we now have the release date for Tangle & Whisper. This will be available for everyone starting tomorrow, February 25, SEGA just announced.

Coinciding with the update is a Tangle & Whisper Festival, which will be held between February 26 and March 1. World Match will not be available while the Festival is going on.

Nintendo Switch 2 Editions are coming in left and right, and Good Smile Company and IzanagiGames today confirmed the same treatment for Dark Auction. This is planned for June 11, 2026.

The mystery adventure title has been on Nintendo Switch for about a month now. Those who own that version can upgrade for 100 yen (western pricing yet to be confirmed). A physical release will also be sold in Japan.

Lollipop Chainsaw Repop Nintendo Switch 2 Edition

September 16: Lollipop Chainsaw Repop is getting a new Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, Dragami Games just revealed. A release is planned for November.

Dragami Games is promising “significant” improvements for resolution, frame rate, and overall graphics quality compared to the original Nintendo Switch version. Those attending the Tokyo Game Show will be able to go hands-on with the game.

PowerWash Simulator 2 Adventure Time DLC

December 18: FuturLab today unveiled the first major DLC for PowerWash Simulator 2, which is a collaboration with Adventure Time. The new pack drops in Spring 2026 for $7.99.

In the DLC, things have gone haywire across the Candy Kingdom, and it’s up to players to clean up the schmutz. Five fan-favorite locations will be included. There’ll also be “a brilliantly bananas storyline with Princess Bubblegum, Finn, Jake, The Ice King, Gunter and The Party God”.

Out of nowhere, Balatro has just received a brand new version for Nintendo Switch 2.

Note that this is not a Nintendo Switch 2 Edition – it’s completely separate. We haven’t been able to confirm this ourselves yet, but we’re hearing that saves don’t transfer. However, if you own the Nintendo Switch version, it’s a free upgrade. Mouse controls are supported and the gameplay is 60 frames per second.
