Alien: Rogue Incursion – Part One: Evolved Edition has not only been announced for Nintendo Switch 2, but you can get it right now.
Survivos is putting the action-horror Alien shooter on Nintendo’s latest console today. Mouse controls are supported, so when a Joy-Con is detached and placed on a surface, the game instantly switches to precision mouse aiming with no settings changes required.

Nintendo announces Splatoon Raiders Switch 2 release date with new trailer

The release date for Splatoon Raiders has just come through. As revealed through the Nintendo Today app, the game launches on July 23, 2026 for Nintendo Switch 2. It will cost $50 digitally and $60 physically.
It’s been close to a year since Splatoon Raiders was first revealed. Nintendo pulled back the curtain on the project last June, but we hadn’t heard anything since. Now it’s known that we’re just three months out from the launch.

Fellow Traveller made it known today that they Penguin Colony will be released on Nintendo Switch 2. It’ll be out later in 2026.
Penguin Colony is a Lovecraftian narrative experience. Development comes from Origame Digital, the creator of Umurangi Generation.

March 5: Milestone today confirmed that it’s developing MotoGP 26, and it’s heading to both Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch. It’s slated for April 29, 2026.
MotoGP will be appearing on Nintendo Switch 2 for the first time. The game will be introducing dynamic Rider Ratings, a rider-based handling system, and an expanded Career mode.

Today, Sanrio Games announced that it’s developing Sanrio Party Land for both Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch. The game will be available this fall.
For the time being, it’s only been confirmed that in the new title, players can create their own original avatars and enjoy mini-games and board games with the Sanrio characters. It’s classified as a party game.

Ball x Pit announces “Shadow” update

The team behind Ball x Pit has pulled back the curtain on the next update for Ball x Pit, known as “Shadow”. Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch players can grab it on April 27, 2026.
This time around, the game is getting new ball evolutions that freeze it and warp it entirely. There’ll be new characters, new balls, new passives, and a new building.

The latest UK software sales chart for the week ending April 18, 2026 is now available.
The recent set of data is highlighted by two new releases: Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream and Pragmata. These two games come in at #1 and #2 respectively.
In terms of physical copies, Tomodachi Live’s sales were 36 larger than Pokemon Pokopia. We’ll note that for Pragmata, Nintendo Switch 2 accounted for 13 percent of the game’s sales.
