Good Boy, the first Team17-published Nintendo Switch 2 game, has just been announced. The project has been revealed, though there’s no word on launch timing.
Observer Interactive is developing the new game, which is an ecosystem-driven Metroidvania. As a LAIKA Space Rover, you’ll uncover the ancient mysteries of the planet Terra II as you capture and research alien creatures, complete quests for the other Rovers, and forge a bond with your new human friend.

Hollow Knight: Silksong getting extra content after launch

Some sort of extra content is in the works for Hollow Knight: Silksong that will be added after launch. That’s according to Ari Gibson and William Pellen, co-founders at Team Cherry.
The two were speaking with Bloomberg about the game’s development and the future. In that report, we hear that Team Cherry has “big plans to add extra content to Silksong in the months and years to come.” However, specifics have not been shared at this time.

August 20: Two more games are joining Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection, with Mortal Kombat Mythologies and Mortal Kombat Special Forces now having been revealed.
Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero, an action adventure game, originally came to the N64 and PlayStation in 1997. Mortal Kombat: Special Forces is also in the same genre and launched in 2000, but only on the PS1.

The team behind Hollow Knight: Silksong has spoken about why it’s taken so long for the game to launch.
After years of anticipation, the title is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch in just a couple of weeks. Team Cherry revealed today that the release date is set for September 4, 2025.

GungHo and Falcom just announced a Nintendo Switch 2 version and demo for Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter. The opening movie is also in.
The Nintendo Switch 2 version will only be available digitally. However, it will feature a higher frame rate and resolution compared to the Nintendo Switch release, along with faster loading times. There are also plans for an Upgrade Pass for those looking to move up from Nintendo Switch to Switch 2.
Nintendo Switch Online offering Drag x Drive icons

August 6: Drag x Drive is almost here, and to celebrate, new icons are now available on Nintendo Switch Online. Both Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch owner can grab them now.
Characters and backgrounds are currently available based on the game. For the former, it’s 10 Platinum Points each on My Nintendo. Backgrounds go for 5 Platinum Points each. You’ll always be able to keep them, even if your Nintendo Switch Online membership ends.
