Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade director Naoki Hamaguchi has commented on the Nintendo Switch 2 version’s “hair problem”.

Differences in hair is something we’ve seen in some third-party ports for the system so far. With Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade, Cloud’s hair can sometimes look a bit jagged. According to Hamaguchi, the game uses temporal anti-aliasing, but “jagged edges in the hair become more noticeable” during busier moments in which the resolution drops.

Nintendo Treehouse: Live February 24

A new Nintendo Treehouse: Live event will take place on February 24, 2026, Nintendo has announced. It will air at 2 PM PT / 5 PM ET / 10 PM in the UK / 11 PM in Europe. Expect the event to last about 80 minutes.

Two games will be featured here. In addition to Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park, we’ll also be seeing more of Pokemon Pokopia.

The latest UK software sales chart for the week ending February 21, 2026 is now available.

Formula Legends physical 1

Formula Legends is receiving a physical release on Nintendo Switch with a Legacy Edition, according to retailers. It’s listed for June 4, 2026 with Microids in charge of distribution.

Formula Legends: Legacy Edition includes the main game and 8 pieces of DLC. Additionally, a poster and lithographs are packed in as physical bonuses.

Pokemon Pokopia

It’s time for the latest Famitsu’s most wanted games chart outlining what Japanese gamers are looking forward to based on reader votes. As has been the case lately, Pokemon Pokopia is still on top for Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch games.

Resident Evil Requiem Switch 2

Nintendo has updated the Japanese Switch and Switch 2 release schedule on eShop for the week of February 26, 2026. Various new titles are on the way, highlighted by Resident Evil Requiem, Resident Evil 7, Resident Evil Village, The Disney Afternoon Collection, and Tales of Berseria Remastered.

Minecraft

Recently, Nintendo provided a listing of the top 15 European eShop downloads for January 2026. We have data for both Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch here.

Despite various competition, Minecraft was on top for both platforms. It was able to beat out some new titles, including Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade and Animal Crossing: New Horizons – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition. Grid Legends and Suika Game Planet also appear.
