Nintendo Today 3.0.0 update

Nintendo Today is back with its latest update, with the app moving up to version 3.0.0.

According to Nintendo, some issues have been fixed. This is one of those instances, however, in which the specifics weren’t provided.

Kirby Air Riders Noir Dedede & Hydra amiibo

Two more amiibo are joining the Kirby Air Riders line, with Nintendo having just revealed the Sword Kirby & Dragoon and Noir Dedede & Hydra figures. Release dates will be provided later.

Similar to other Kirby Air Riders amiibo, characters can be swapped with Air Ride Machines.

February 11: To mark the launch of Mario Tennis Fever, new icons for the game have just gone live on Nintendo Switch Online.

As is usually the case, designs are available for characters, backgrounds, and frames. You can claim icons for staples like Mario and Luigi, but also others such as Blooper and Piranha Plant. Characters are 10 Platinum Points each on My Nintendo. Everything else goes for 5 Platinum Points each.

Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse won’t be a roguelike or roguelite, according to Konami.

Following the game’s recent announcement, some fans wondered if the upcoming title will be pursuing those genres. That’s because Evil Empire, a studio involved with Dead Cells, is leading development on Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse. Dead Cells is very much known for its roguelike gameplay.

As for Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse, head of communications Tommy Williams for Konami in the Americas has commented on what to expect. It’ll be an action adventure title, and it looks like we’re getting fully handcrafted experience here.

Everhood Hunters

Today, Foreign Gnomes unveiled Everhood Hunters as its next project. The game is hitting Nintendo Switch in 2027.

Everhood Hunters is a musical battle roguelike. Players will be able to experience over 70 original songs and music from previous entries in the series.

Postal: Brain Damaged DLC These Sunny Daze

August 13: The Postal: Brain Damaged DLC, These Sunny Daze, is now confirmed for Nintendo Switch. It will launch on PC on September 9, with other platforms set for late 2025.

Arc System Works has just announced a brand-new card-based survival game titled Goritaire, which is confirmed to be launching on Nintendo Switch. The game is set to release on March 18.

Pokemon Pokopia event Hoppip, Skiploom, Jumpluff

Pokemon Pokopia launch is just starting to take place, and we already know about the game’s first event which will feature Hoppip, Skiploom, and Jumpluff. These three creatures will be added to the game.

The event kicks off on March 10. The event, Hoppip’s Cotton, will bring in Cotton and lets players befriend Hoppip, Skiploom, and Jumpluff. Cotton can be exchanged for new items which are used to make habitats for Skiploom and Jumpluff. The event concludes on March 25, 2026.

Blue Prince

March 3: The acclaimed game Blue Prince has just revealed a brand new Nintendo Switch 2 version. Not only that, but the title is launching today.

Blue Prince, a strategy puzzle adventure game, was one of the standout titles of 2025. In it, players will navigate through shifting corridors and ever-changing chambers.

Console Archives Nobunaga's Ambition

A fresh Console Archives game is confirmed for release this week, which is Nobunaga’s Ambition. Nintendo Switch is receiving it tomorrow, March 5.

Nobunaga’s Ambition originally debuted in 1988 from Koei Tecmo. The sim title has players looking to unify all of Japan.
