January 28: Inti Creates today shared details about its Expansion Pass for Card-en-Ciel, which launches on February 19, 2026. A free update for the game is also out today alongside a new Nintendo Switch 2 Edition.
The DLC expansions will bring the worlds of Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark and Blaster Master Zero to Card-en-Ciel. Both offer new story content, dungeons, and cards.

For Animal Crossing: New Horizons players, a new version 3.0.1 update was just made available. It can be downloaded for both Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch.
We’re getting a bunch of bug fixes across the board here. Almost everything pertains to both versions, but there are a couple of things here specific to Nintendo Switch 2. Worth noting that on the new console, the vibration intensity now matches the Nintendo Switch version.

ConcernedApe has issued an update for Stardew Valley – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition. The patch is rolling out now in North America, but will take a bit longer to come out elsewhere alongside the full release.
The update primarily includes some bug fixes. In addition, mouse controls are said to be improved, and it’s now possible to disable them.

Puzzle game Swan Song announced for Nintendo Switch

Today, Business Goose Studios made it known that its upcoming game Swan Song will be appearing on Nintendo Switch. The game is heading to PC in Q2 2026, so we should be seeing it on Nintendo’s system after that.
Swan Song, a cozy puzzle game, is set in a mysterious music box in which players place notes on a scale to compose melodies that guide a little swan safely back to its nest. It features warm low-poly visuals and a soothing soundtrack by acclaimed composer Jamal Green.

Goodnight Universe gains Nintendo Switch 2 camera support with new update

Skybound Games and Nice Dreams are offering a new feature for the narrative game Goodnight Universe, as Nintendo Switch 2 camera support has now been added in.
This comes as part of the latest update with the “camera as controller” mode, which gives players the option to interact using their eyes and expressions. The same patch also includes several adjustments boosting overall visual fidelity.

The turn-based RPG musical People of Note now has its release date. Today, Annapurna and Iridium Studios announced that the game is hitting Nintendo Switch 2 on April 7, 2026.
People of Note was technically announced in September. However, plans for Nintendo Switch 2 were only just confirmed last month.

Today, ESDigital Games announced a publishing partnership with Reset Games which will see Machine Gun Fury ending up on Nintendo Switch. Launch timing is still being decided.
Machine Gun Fury is a retro-inspired action title that’s intended to be a military shooter. The run-and-gun game will have players going on a mission to “bring tyranny to its knees.”

Dragon is Dead has been announced for release on consoles, including Nintendo Switch. It will be available on April 23, 2026. The physical release will follow on July 14, 2026.
Dragon is Dead, a dark fantasy roguelite with hack-and-slash combat and unlockable classes, features 2D visuals. As players overcome repeated deaths, they’ll to defeat Guernian, the leader of the Dark Dragons.
