Alice in Wonder Underland AIWU

Regista, Suzume Takanashi, and YMCAT have confirmed plans for a Nintendo Switch version of Alice in Wonder Underland AIWU. It’ll be out later in 2026.

Alice in Wonder Underland AIWU is a 2D adventure game with puzzles, mini-games, and “immersive interactive experiences.” You’ll follow the journey of Alice and Noir Bunny as they encounter strange worlds while searching for a lost voice.

Harvest Moon Echoes of Teradea

Today, Natsume unveiled Harvest Moon: Echoes of Teradea for both Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch. The company has not provided launch timing details.

Harvest Moon: Echoes of Teradea will be the first entry in the series on Nintendo Switch 2. The game will feature different love interests, new exploration abilities, and more.

Another Nintendo Switch 2 Edition has just arrived, this time for Cozy Grove. It’s starting to roll out in different regions and should be out worldwide this week.

Cozy Grove first hit Nintendo Switch in 2021. Now on the new console, the life sim features a 4K resolution when docked (1080p in handheld mode) along with an increased frame rate.

Epic today announced plans for Fortnite: Save the World, including the news that it’ll be on Nintendo Switch 2 as a free-to-play game.

Save the World is what Fortnite originally started as in 2017 – before it become the massively popular battle royale. It’s described as “a PvE, action-building co-op campaign where no two games of building forts, crafting weapons, and holding back monster hordes were ever the same.”

ACA NeoGeo Pop'N Bounce

We haven’t seen a new ACA NeoGeo game since 2019, but the line is getting a new game with Hamster having announced Pop’N Bounce. It drops tomorrow, March 12.

Pop’N Bounce originally released in 1997 courtesy of Video System. The brick breaker has players has players connecting adjacent enemy blocks to take them down.

Gobble

Nippon Ichi Software has just announced Gobble, a new game for Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch. In Japan, it’s due out on September 24, 2026 – a western launch will likely follow later.

Gobble is a side-scrolling action game. The title comes from Nippon Ichi Software’s internal “Project Pitch Fest”, the same event which brought us Yomawari and The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince.

Console Archives Sonic Wings Special

Hamster is publishing Sonic Wings Special as the next Console Archives game for Nintendo Switch 2, the company has announced. It comes out tomorrow, March 12.

The title first released in 1996. Video System was originally behind the 1996 shooter.

The Art of Octopath Traveler: 2020-2023

Fans of the Octopath Traveler series might be interested in a new book coming from Square Enix. Later this year, the company is releasing The Art of Octopath Traveler: 2020-2023 in partnership with Dark Horse.

This is a hardcover book spanning over 200 pages. Octopath Traveler 2 plus the mobile game Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent are covered here.

Mega Man Dual Override Ben Diskin

Mega Man: Dual Override is finally bringing back Mega Man with a brand new game, but it’ll have a key change since Ben Diskin won’t be reprising his role as the Blue Bomber.

Diskin took to social media and shared the news with a lengthy statement. While Capcom wanted him to return, it came with the condition that he “work without the protections of a union contract.” 

Given the state of AI currently, Diskin felt it would be too much of a risk to come back for Mega Man: Dual Override, even though there would apparently be certain protections in place. He would only move forward with a union contract, but that wasn’t something Capcom was up for.

Nintendo’s partnership with LEGO on the Super Mario line will continue into 2027, it’s been confirmed.

A teaser about what’s to come next year was just posted on social media. We don’t know much – a short clip shows Mario jumping out of the famous Warp Pipe – but that’s pretty much it.
