Ground Zero Hero announced for Nintendo Switch 2, Switch
Acclaim and Rowan Edmondson are putting Ground Zero Hero on Nintendo Switch, the two sides confirmed today. For the time being no launch window has been provided.
Ground Zero Hero is an upcoming horde survival action roguelike with a hand-drawn art style inspired by The Simpsons and Rick and Morty. In it, players will enter a chaotic post-apocalyptic wasteland as they take down massive hordes of mutants while unlocking powerful mutations.
Much more information can be found in the following overview:
Forget surviving the apocalypse. You’re here to dominate it.
Ground Zero Hero drops you into a radioactive wasteland overrun with mutated creatures. Every enemy you destroy becomes fuel for your evolution. Absorb their remains, stack mutations, and build increasingly powerful and unpredictable combinations until you become an unstoppable force.
Each run is a new experiment. Each build is a new monster.
Fast, chaotic, and endlessly replayable, Ground Zero Hero blends bullet hell combat, roguelite progression, and survival mechanics into one addictive loop where every decision shapes your path to power.
Every enemy you defeat drops the raw material for your next transformation. Stack mutations, combine abilities, and create wildly different builds every run. No two playthroughs are ever the same.
Face massive, screen-filling waves of mutated enemies attacking from all directions. Each wave escalates. Each night gets deadlier. Dodge, adapt, and push your build to its limits in pure bullet hell chaos.
Collect resources from fallen enemies and crack safes under pressure to grow stronger. Unlock and upgrade across multiple progression paths, each offering powerful bonuses that shape your playstyle. Build smart. Survive longer. Become unstoppable.
