Nintendo Switch Online now has icons for using GameChat

In an interesting move, Nintendo Switch Online has added in new icons for those that give GameChat a shot.

This is a limited time event. To get involved, select the proper icon on the home menu or press the C button on the Joy-Con 2 controller. If you completed the initial GameChat setup, you’ll be given My Nintendo Platinum Points which can be redeemed for icon elements.

Right now there are thirteen icons available. Each one costs 10 Platinum Points on My Nintendo.

The icons will be offered until April 22, 2026 at 5:59 PM PT / 8:59 PM ET. Any designs you claim can be used at any point, even if your Nintendo Switch Online membership ends.
