Plump Pop is this week’s Arcade Archives game on Nintendo Switch 2, Switch

Hamster is bringing Plump Pop to both Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch as another Arcade Archives game, the company has announced. It comes out tomorrow, March 5.

Plump Pop was originally made by Taito. The 1987 action game has players using a trampoline to launch into the air and defeat enemies.

Plump Pop is an action game released by Taito in 1987. The protagonists are a family of Plump Animals. The parents control a trampoline to launch their child into the air and defeat enemies above. With two-player simultaneous play, it’s a fun experience where two families work together to clear the stages!

The Arcade Archives series has faithfully reproduced many classic Arcade masterpieces. Players can change various game settings such as game difficulty, and also reproduce the atmosphere of arcade display settings at that time. Players can also compete against each other from all over the world with their high scores.
