Square Enix has shared more information of The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales. The title is due to release for Nintendo Switch 2 on June 18, 2026.

This title takes place over the course of a thousand years, and you’ll be playing through different ages that took place throughout that time. Today, Square Enix has shared information on the age of reconstruction.

Square Enix has come out with more details on The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales. The title is slated to release for Nintendo Switch 2 on June 18, 2026.

Some of the bigger pieces of information shared, are the changes made to the game after the reception of the free demo. They specifically mention increasing the player’s movement speed, adding new difficulty levels, and adding quality of life changes in a few interfaces.

We have an update on The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales, the new action RPG from Square Enix. It’s slated for June 18, 2026.

This is the second time The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales has appeared in a Nintendo Direct as it was originally unveiled in a presentation last July. At the time it was given a vague 2026 launch window.

Square Enix has spoken about why it wanted to make its first HD-2D action RPG with The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales.

The company kicked off the Nintendo Switch generation with Octopath Traveler, which is largely a traditional RPG. We started to see Square Enix explore other genres for HD-2D with Triangle Strategy, but the action RPG space is a new venture.
